I would love to see Tchernyshev choreograph for Elena too! It seems her FS is already being choreographed by Shae Lynn Bourne though :yahoo:

Already missing Inna Goncharenko though. It's like on one hand, I want to know everything that happened to lead to this decision, and on the other hand, I really don't want to think about it.
I was watching interviews with Lena and Adelina prior to Sochi Olympics (see link below) and near the end, Goncharenko talks about how Lena came to her when she was so young, and even then, it was apparent she was a star, and winning all these competitions. Goncharenko even mentioned with lots of hard work and a little bit of luck, she thinks Lena will end up Olympic Champion. So...it's just sad that Goncharenko won't be continuing that journey with her.

I don't know if Lena's skating needed a change so much as she needed to present a change to the figure skating community. Perception appears to often be reality in figure skating, and Lena switching to the woman who coached the last Olympic Gold medalist could well make those who matter see her in a different light next season - regardless of whether her skating undergoes any dramatic changes this summer.

Lena's been part of the bigger vision for the future of Russian skating for so many years, that I think this shift positions her well heading into an Olympic year. Perhaps Team Buyanova will likely put on a few superficial touches to her game that will mitigate some its more persistent criticisms ("sloppy" jumps to mind, though it's never bothered me), and that will surely put her ahead of Sotskova, provided the jumps remain consistent.
 
Also well, we all agree Buyanova can do politics.
And Masha isnt very stable and is still a bit bland on ice, so if Elena does well, Buyanova will totally promote her.

Well, I'm SUPER PLEASED to see that Shae-Lynn will be choreographing Lena's LP. :yes2: I can't wait to see what they come up with!
But I'm sure this was decided well before Lena applied to switch coaches (and maybe even before she considered doing so).

Earlier it sounded like Misha Ge was probably going to choreograph one of Lena's programs (the SP?), but now I'm not so sure. :unsure: What do you guys think? Should Lena get Misha to choreograph her SP? Or Peter Tchernyshev? Or someone else? :scratch2:

In Buyanova's video, there is a girl wearing a light pink top skating around...I think it might be Lena? Or it might be Masha. Hard to tell.. :unsure:

She should have changed coach 2 seasons ago. Now with a new and more powerful coach, her chance of going to Olympic will be broadened. But she is still at risks.

Well, this could be true too.... We may never know what happened, but *I* still think that Inna would rather have Lena go to the Olympics with someone else, than have Lena not go to the Olympics at all. Because I think she really loves Lena, and totally unselfishly. :sad21:

Anyway, on to happier topics! I keep waiting for Lena to post some photos from Toronto, but I haven't seen anything yet! :drama:

I agree with you, I thought for many days what was the reason why Lena and Yuzu do not touch in this photo and then I saw in IG a photo in which Yuzu makes the same gesture of the little horns they did with Lena in another Photo , During the final gala of WTT ... I do not know if there is something between Yuzu and Lena (secretly) I think that if Yuzu had a girlfriend she would not make it public for her own privacy and security ... Although I feel confused I think Between Lena and Yuzu something probably happens ... Although I have noticed that fans like more the "perfect" pair of Yuzu and Evgenia ... These are my thoughts ... Capable no one agrees with me.😂
Maybe it's the dream of a fan all dreamy big-minded product ...😆😝 But I really like the pair that Lena and Yuzu do ... I think Lena is a strong and determined girl, with a great charisma, and postive. Your way of being is totally inspiring.💗

You guys are feeding my shipping heart :biggrin: :luv17: I, too, was confused, everytime they post banquet photos, those Yuzu/Lena ones are a bit reserved than others. But then Lena said on an interview that she hasn't pick a guy yet... so, until she confirmed something, I will continue to ship Yuzu/Lena :laugh:
