It may not be the music selection I expected from a senior skater, but I think she has the sweetness and charm in her skating to pull it off, and she definitely enjoys it. Which is really what matters, in the end.

Google translates the beginning of her message as "Hello everyone expensive friends", but I imagine (hope) that's not the real meaning. Does anyone know?

It's "dorogyi", aka "dear". In russian as well as in my language "dear" and "expensive" are homonyms.
