On the subject of a new program, I can't believe I am saying this as I hate a sound of Carmen at this stage but wouldn't Liza make a great Carmen, not a refined kind of Samatha Cesario but a raw wild Carmen? I certainly can see it...

I don't know how anyone not named Krylova would be able to pull it off, but if Liza does I bow down to her. She'd need to take GPF Bolero up to 11.
Carmen's actually my favourite warhorse. If you sell it well, I enjoy it. (Versus, say, POTO, which I can't remember liking from anyone. :hopelessness However, I do hope for something non-warhorse-y because that'll probably resonate better with the skating world at large.

Thanks! Great that they made a reportage about it.
I do wish I understood more of what they were saying, though - instead of just glimpses here & there. And I really wish they hadn't dubbed Liza speaking English into French! What's wrong with subtitles, people?! But, anyway, it was fun to see them working together.I actually came to the thread because I'd just been struck by an unexpected thought...
