Congratulations to Liza, the 2015 World Champion! I don't bestow this title easily, but it's finally time: the queen. :bow:

A year ago, who would've believed us if we said Russia's first World Champion from this era would be Liza, of all people. I'm so glad she fulfilled the promise she showed since she was a 12-year-old girl.

Now, Liza, please stay healthy, work on new programs, and keep slaying next season. :cheer2:
 
So, a question to my fellow Liza fans - should I stay out of the ladies' FP thread? Is there any joy to be had there? I mean, is anyone actually happy - or is it just a load of griping & grousing? Just curious...

Apparently Liza needs to do some shopping first but after that we can all call her the queen.

No, I do not feel the queen. To do this, a lot of work. And treat yourself to shopping. It has long been dreaming about it. Now I can go with peace of mind and "stock up" on the full.

There is some happiness but mostly bitterness and griping. I just left.

I mostly chuckled, and was almost tempted to respond. But I thought to myself, hey why should I degrade myself by responding to a bunch of morons.

Well, Rus Fed definitely need Liza at WTT if they want to win gold.

The Grand Prix Final winner, the European Champion, and now the World Champion, this season turned out to be perfect for Liza! Finally long-time hard work is fairly rewarded! Congratulations to Liza and her team, Very Well Done!!! Tired as you looked in the FS, you could still pull yourself together and win, SIMPLY GREAT! :rock: Next season the Ladies competitions will be more interesting to watch, I believe.
 
Thanks for the replies re the ladies' thread! I generally like to read the reactions - thoughts, hopes, wishes, and happiness expressed as things are happening; but if the thread is pervaded by prunefaced miseriguts, perhaps it's better not to put that strain on my eyes - or temper! ;) Well, some people aren't happy unless they're miserable, so one can just let them enjoy themselves in the fashion that suits them best. ;) Not that I doubt, I hasten to add, that there are people there who are genuinely happy for Liza and her success. :)

Oh, are there any pictures of Liza and Elena in the greenroom? That was so cute.:)

ETA - Oh, I quite forgot! I just recently showed Liza's SP to my husband and he was very impressed. And Sassi (see avatar) watched all of it as well - and when I then noted that Sassi had watched and liked it too, Sassi said: "Hmm!" in an agreeing voice. :)
