Elizaveta Tuktamysheva

The Team Challenge Cup in April. Papa Mishin has said she will participate there.

True, true... I thought of that after posting - sometimes one expects too much of one's Queen.:)
The score was indeed kind of shocking. But it couldn't be helped. The main thing was not to fall and risk an injury. That's my perspective anyway.
I'm more upset about the darn dress. Three times within one year that this designer has utterly failed Liza. I wish she would just fire him but given her personality, I know she won't do it.

Can't they get the size right? :eekn::curse::sad4:

if you want to see why search for yourself
the newspaper Oslobodjenje
or around the net.

pororocheburashka, please remove the second link you posted. You didn't have to add that in. It's not appropriate.

Don't know why you are singling that particular link out for needing removed. If it was me, I would want both links removed! Save Liza's blushes completely (as you were valiantly attempting to do all along).

But, although it does show two photos of Liza exposing more than she would have liked, at least the second link has a story about the competition, as well as photos of the other 2 skaters taking part. So, it is not completely focussing in on the inadequacies of her dress.

Honestly, those photos are out there and some of them are attached to reputable or at least quasi reputable news sites. They are not going away. I don't see the point in not linking to news articles, even if they have these pictures attached, and while I realize people's motives and feelings are good, I don't honestly know that it accomplishes anything not to link to just photos themselves either unless someone is doing it with malice, which I just don't think is the case here.

Hopefully the costume will be fixed absolutely ASAP. It is just beautiful and I've wanted to see her in something like it for a long time, but quite obviously, not everything that should be covered is covered at this point.

The dress is beautiful and the color is very flattering to Liza. There's just an issue with the fit. It could happen to anyone and it probably can be fixed.

Maybe they could add silicone stripes like they're used for strapless bra's.
I don't think the pictures are really bad. I think they didn't expect that the transparent blue material would stretch as much as it did. Not ideal, but I hope she won't mind. No need to be overly embarrassed.

At least it happened at this tiny competition with dreadful camerawork, and not at Russian Nats or some other big competition being broadcast everywhere. I wonder if she got a deduction for it? Other than that, I agree that it's not the most horrifying thing on the planet - men go around without shirts in skating & nobody bats an eye (though not in competition, obviously). I don't think it's really scandalous...although she will definitely have to change costumes again & that's a shame. It's just not her season.

Eh, this is a classic wardrobe mishap, you'd think people would have found ways to solve this by now. I think even Dick Button wrote about it in his book. Nonetheless, the electric blue is very flattering (for some reason it makes me think of Irina Slutskaya), I'd love to see the choreography as well.

And I guess you know you're a figure skating fan when the first thing you think is "oh I hadn’t noticed she's in Risports".

Agreed, I really like this dress, it just needs a few alterations to make sure that the slip doesn't happen again.

This is hardly a Liza-specific problem, though, granted, she, um, has the most to show when it does happen. I was watching the gala from US Nats last night and begging Gracie to be careful...her neckline was nearly as dangerously low as this one (though without the v, granted)!

As for the darkness near her ankle, I'm inclined to think it's strapping tape.

I think this is not a problem for Liza at all.
As you can see on her Insta pics....hmm..she enjoying...you know... her own sexuality.
So she is a big girl.

I mean, I don't see how these two issues are the same at all? Being comfortable with your body and sexuality is a healthy, and in fact I'd even argue necessary state if people want to be truly happy and well adjusted. People can express comfort with their body and sexuality in a wide variety of ways though and I don't think it's something you can necessarily determine by instagram analysis. What I think you are actually saying in not so many words is that Liza sometimes wears revealing clothes in day to day life (which you interpret as enjoying her sexuality but may or may not have anything to do with that- she may just like that fashion style, she may be proud of her body, she may dress like her friends, and so on...). I don't see what someone wearing revealing clothing in everyday life has to do with whether they hope their nipples will be exposed while engaged in an athletic endeavor, which also happens to be their job. I don't think it follows from the pictures that Liza puts on her instagram that she is happy with the pictures out there of this costume and what happened- it's not like she's posting nudes or photos of her in see through clothing on instagram.

Honestly on a different point, I think what happened is being very much overblown. There was a costume malfunction (and no way is anyone going to convince me that because of her instagram she intended this to happen, sorry), it will be fixed soon I'm sure, what's the big deal. As others have said she's not the first skater this has happened to, but she's also very much not the first person this kind of thing happened to- I doubt one woman in America could honestly say they've never had an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction in day to day life, it's just most of us are lucky enough that this isn't on camera forever, and even if it is no one cares.
