Elizaveta Tuktamysheva

Today has been a very sad day for me. I have followed for some years Liza's career and is a wonderful skater. But every day away from the extraordinary level he had when he won the world championship in 2015. Today I had one of the worst of his career LP. I did not think it could be worse than last season. I know you have to trust that there is time to see progress, but I see that your problem is psychological, has stopped believing in it. Competition in Russia is huge and it must react quickly if you want to be in that elite group. Hopefully stop worrying so much about silly things and rely on the enormous talent he has.

Although I am very sad today I'm still TUKTAMYSHEVA team, maybe that's why I feel more.

My native language is Spanish, I am Mexican, I have not mastered English language, so I offer an apology if I do not write correctly.

I understand your feelings very well! Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts in English with many of her fans. Elizaveta is a very charming girl and I count myself on team Tuktamysheva too!

Group hug!! :ghug:

Translation of recent Liza interview:

I feel comforted in reading it that it feels as if Liza really knows what her issues are, and is working on them. Last year, the most discomforting of all for me as a fan was that Liza seemed... lost. As if she herself had no idea what the matter was. As if she was floundering in the dark. I'll never forget her expression at Nationals. That wasn't nerves - that was sheer terror, plain & simple. That's why I'm feeling far more optimistic for her this season.

Take it day by day, step by step, Liza. Your fans will always be with you.:)
