One would hope after Antipova's illness, folks would lay off harping about a young female skater's weight. Liza looks good and, more importantly, healthy.

Late but still - it makes me so happy to hear of Elizaveta's victory. That must be a huge confidence boost. Go, Elizaveta! :thumbsup: I totally want her to be a match again for Lipnitskaia, Sotnikova, Radionova and Pogorilaya. Five wonder girls this season, wow. The GP, EC and WC will be a treat. 
Besides sharing her name, does anyone think that Liza resembles the late Elizabeth Taylor, when she was that age? Similar coloring, face shape and the caftan like costumes (LOL) bring to mind the famous actress and activist.

You know, I wasn't too sure about the comparison with Liz Taylor. Until I did a search for photos of Liz when she was a teenager, and saw this page:

My goodness, the likeness is scarily uncanny! Especially the 1949 photo!
Personally, I preferred the one where Johnny is re-creating a photo of Liza from the Youth Olympics.

Wow she attends so many B-Competitions this season..
Nails it every time!
I think she is back( or almost back since there's still no 3Lz-3T but who cares) and IF the judges will be fair on her with Components, she could be a serious contender this season :thumbsup:
