Elizaveta Tuktamysheva

WOW! I love how that dress fits her so perfectly. Like a glove. Love the décolleté also because she doesn't have big boobs and can afford that without looking vulgar. Great shoes too. You go girl.
If she's not gonna wear this at her age when is she gonna do that, when she's 50?:rolleye:

I would say Liz showed her boobs quite a lot, even when she was not so young anymore.

True. When she was older, Liz Taylor did show them off a bit too much. But when she was young (not much older than Liza is now), boys but she could pull it off!

I came into this thread because I saw my post count was on 4,999 posts and wanted my 5,000[SUP]th[/SUP] post to be special.

So, may I use this opportunity to wish Liza all the best in the Free Skate this afternoon.

Don't think about what you have to do to get such-and-such a position, or to get in the running for an international slot. Because that will put too much pressure on you.

Just go out there and do the best you can.

We, your fans, are right behind you! And we will still be no matter where you finish.

:cheer: ALL THE BEST!!! :cheer:

A beautiful, worthy 5000th post CaroLiza_fan - so true & moving words!

And what I came here to say:

Liza! Liza! Liza! (chants & fistpumps)

Well, I can't lie, I am quite bummed about how this competition went for Liza :( I don't think, with this placement in this field and with how Anna skated that she will be named to either the European or world teams, unless Anna bombs at Euros, which I can't wish for her.

Yup. But this is a learning experience and a chance for her to rest. Next season she will come back stronger.

Well, this season is definitely over for Liza.
Hopefully she will enter some senior B competitions so that we'll be able to root for her ;)

That was disappointing though:(
She is amazing when she is on ;(

Im gonna be the evil witch & wish for some stepouts & a couple of not so scary falls:laugh::slink:

I cant even 100% be happy for Zhenya, Lena, Alisa & my other favs now b/c all my thoughts are about Liza:sad4::sad4:

Really disappointed with how this weekend went, but this does show up just how silly the team qualification structure is. Even if you don't want to expand the number of ladies from each country - which you really should when this ladies event was likely better than anything we'll see in Boston - you should at least give the defending champ a bye to Worlds, and allow her to structure her schedule how ever she likes.

Certainly in the United States or even Japan, this FS might have been good enough to at vault her into the Top 4; even with the mistakes, I feel like it was her most artistic interpretation of the Peer Gynt music since Japan.

I could, however, see her sneaking back onto the world team should she throw down some really big scores in any upcoming Senior Bs or the Russian Cup Final. Trying to be optimistic.

Not necessarily. It depends on whether she elects to accept the invitation to the team competition - in April, I think?

So, thoughts - will she? should she?

Should she? I don't know. Will she? Yes.

Well, if she does, I hope she will take it as a stress-free opportunity to prove herself. Also, I suppose at least we'll have symmetry - she began the season with a team competition... and ended with one.

I hope she comes to the Team Challenge! I want to see her there. It's certainly a lot less pressure than Worlds & would give her a chance to finish the season on a happy note if she does well.

I definitely forgot about that! :D
I think she'll take part to that comp!!
Maybe, in these months she will regain strenght and confidence... I wonder if she will include a second 3a in her LP:/

The judges scores PDFs are up:

Liza got < on the second 3T of her combo, which likely (though should have had to) made the difference between her and Adelina.

That < was a ridiculous misjudgement. You can see in slow-mo that there were NO even a suspicion for UR as never have been in Liza's cases. She should have placed overall higher than Adelina. But it would be good for her to end the season early, and not participate in any team events. I think the last year team event was a mistake because it took from her precious time she needed to rest well and to prepare for a new season.

If I were Liza, I'd only go to WTT if I'm sent to Worlds. Like, I'm being kept from defending my World title but am told, k go to Japan for an exo tournament? Russia has literally 10,000 ladies to pick from when it comes to WTT.

No. The team qualification structure is fine. You seem to forget that any change that would come that way would be at the expense of the little countries. And that will happen over my dead body.

I think there is some confusion here. It is not a WTT year. The competition in April is the Team Challenge Cup, a new competition, and unlike WTT, attendance is not mandatory. If Liza is chosen for it, it will be either because of her ranking/standing/whatever I can't remember or because she will have won the popular vote. Even then, she can decline if she pleases.

....KARNE HATES RUSSIAN NATIONALS RIGHT NOW. :sad21: No King, my Prince lost forever, and now no Queen, either....

I mean, adding one extra spot for the defending champion would hardly upset much of the existing order.

TaT was implying that the reserve team may be the one going to Team event in April. Meaning Sot, Tukt, or Lip.

And I would agree normally except this is the ISU we're talking about here.

Pretty sure the RuFed doesn't get to decide?
