There was a warm welcome for Liza and the rest of Mishin's team at the airport earlier today. They were presented with flowers. Sasha only appears (in the background) of two pictures but that's better than no pics.

Well, if Mishin doesn't want her to go for the Worlds' spot, then it makes perfect sense. I don't know if Sarajevo counts for SB or no? But I suppose this is a step in his plan for her development, trying out her new SP &c.

There are 12 weeks between Sarajevo and TCC. So if she doesn't skate at the Russian Cup Final, it's very likely she'll do another competition in between. Well I hope so anyway.

It's official now. Mishin has said Liza is not going. He also says that there has not been any discussion of substitutions.
(So Russia will very likely be sending Zhenya, Lena and Anna to Worlds.)

Not just jump specialists... I think you'd need NASA scientists to analyze that footage first.

It's a Bandicam recording (screen capture) of a stream, so the quality is downgraded even more, especially in dropped frames per second.
