Liza doesn't just talk the talk, she is skating the skate, bringing back the triple axel, even over-rotating it at the onset of the program and season. She shows why GS voted for her triple lutz, showing them back to back and puts out commendable skates saying she's ready to slay. I think once she gets more comfortable with the 3A, she should be able to increase her performance level. The music is definitely a departure from her past programs so just needs some mileage. I'm guessing she's gonna be adding the 3F back into the free later on?

So glad to see Liza stand up for herself and the other Russian ladies against TSL's comments about their weights and eating habits. Much of what they said was totally inappropriate, uncalled for, and totally off base in my opinion, and good for Liza for not letting them just get away with it.

She is a lively, athletic, and talented skater who is wonderful just as she is, and good riddance to a couple of armchair commentators who say otherwise.

I just cannot like her enough - she is a clever, mature, honest, independent, brilliant in many ways person.
She is truly interesting as a personality beyond the rink, which is a rare quality for athletes.
I hope she will be able to pull out clean programs at the GP events to be qualified for the final and get back the trust of the Federation.
