Scoring at SA was pretty tough, too. Will be interesting to see whether they‘ll keep up with this trend.
Agreed on SA.
But the North American events seem consistently tougher on edge calls and URs.
I know the tech panel are identified as 'from ISU', but the panels negotiated with European and Asian hosts seem to be less strict on these points.
On the other hand, we haven't seen Shin Amano on the GPs yet and he has a super-strict reputation. (He did some of the summer series Junior and Senior events in Canada and was his usual self.)

Liza makes me remember what cognitive dissonance means.
I love everything about her, attitude, skating, jumps, charisma.
I also haaaate her choice of costumes most of the time and I shy away from any 'sexy' EXs, just not my thing.
But I wouldn't want her to change a thing. Not one thing.
I'll just be appalled on the side and cheer her on regardless.

I'm shook too. But not surprised. Why not. Girl wants to show off and enjoy her youth with mischievous provocations.
Btw, I like her trolling sass on her twitter. Somebody helping her with those English translations (and judging by the slang its somebody "very American"). Liza is a troll and always on joke. I don't want her to change. She is very organic in who she is.

So glad Empress Liza is making a comeback. She seems to really enjoy every moment of both her programs. If she gets her 3F back she definitely might be looking at a Europeans or even Worlds medal.
