What happened? Apparently she deleted the comment, weird. She seemed pretty upset, saying she was complimenting Alina but got a lot of hate for it in response? I really want to know what happened. Liza was really supportive of Zhenya last week, I doubt she’d say anything bad about Alina now.

There is this comment on her twitter (from another user):
She meant to say, "In Alina's eyes it was a bad skate, in everyone else's eyes it was a good one."
Sometimes it helps to keep in mind not everyone is a native speaker and hyper aware of the different nuances.

She only needs a bronze, maybe even 4th will be enough. (Not so sure about that, though) She can easily do that. If one of the Japanese ladies falters, she will be even higher on the podium. I‘m really excited to see a 3A battle between her and Rika Kihira! I‘m waiting for another wonderful one like at SCI in the SP. :luv17:

Looking forward to seeing this "Toxic" EX (just a pity there is no Gala scheduled at the Finlandia). Although, I do fear that if she does one particular move from the video I will die of a heart attack!

Finally got around to watching the Skate Canada Gala this morning, and 8 hours later I still haven't recovered!!!
My goodness! I was actually expecting a costume change to happen, but I wasn't expecting it to be that!!!
Not that I'm complaining, of course!
I think Simon Reed summed it up perfectly with what he said as soon as she finished:
"Just as well she doesn't do that routine in competition otherwise I think the judges might have a heart attack!"
And from the sounds of him, it had left him breathless!
That said, the costume change I was expecting would probably have had the same effect. I was expecting her to remove the air hostess costume to reveal a completely illusion mesh costume to replicate what Britney was wearing here:

All I can say is thank goodness she didn't do the signature move I referred to. Because if she had done that as well, I definitely would not have survived to the end of the routine!

I hope she goes clean, it seems like every time she lands it or skates well in comp her confidence grows more. So happy to see her back in the mix this season. I've been willing it for years! [emoji178][emoji23]
