Eun-Soo Lim

I love how people are saying that her 3Lo is her weak jump
....
:rofl2:
her loop was her bff (w/ the axel) when she was reworking her jumps

Anyway, oh god....thanks to the world that she AT LEAST landed everything.
Her loop did almost give me a heart attack because of how close she was to the board.
I didn't want to see another skater get injured.

ps. is it just me or I thought that she should've been over Stastya's scoring? By not a lot though....:slink:

Nah I agree, she should've comparatively received some higher GOEs and Konstantinova shouldn't have had some component scores she got... but oh well.

I thought Eunsoo was sooooo sharp technically. All those toe pick jumps were 10/10

They should really send her to train overseas. Better coaching, choreo, and better music choices. C'mon Eunsoo team.

She has amazing potential but needs a coach change and better choreography.
That's true.
Although even without those changes I've seen a lot of improvement already, just from her first GP to now at JW. This girl could do wonders!
One thing she should really focus on though is her spins. Those need A LOT of work.

Spins, skating skills and transitions. Actually the lack of the latter costs her PCS and GOE on jumps. She is fast and powerful but her programs seems empty between elements (much more visible live than in camera). I wonder if she plans to stay one year longer in juniors or not

She should stay in Juniors imo.

She should go to seniors. It's not like Korea has abundance of talent there.

to me she's the best Korean lady. Maybe a tie with You Young. But Young seems to be struggling a little bit.
Let's wait and see.

She may get GP i think, but idk. Senior lady in korea right now is only Dabin, Hanul, Soyoun... Who possibly will get GP.

Yeah, I think she has a very good chance of being able to go to 4CC and Worlds if they manage to keep 2 spots so I'm hoping she goes senior. If she can't get GPs, then there are senior B competitions. Is there any rule against a skater doing the JGP then 4CC and Worlds? Because that's an option too.

Also, congrats to Eunsoo again for a very respectable finish at JW!! Though I feel like she should have gotten 4th, but what can you do and she did what she could. I was really pleased by the 2A+3T combo in the free, it was simply gorgeous. The 3T just seemed to fly! With all the talks of quads, I'm curious to see just how high her toe jump can get as a solo jump, but I more want her to work on her spins and SS. Please KSU, send her abroad somewhere (if she's willing!) How about Japan!? It seemed like she's been there to train before.:(

And I'm seeing pictures and her ankles are taped omg? I hope it's not serious.:( She did so well while carrying those injuries!

just watched her programs from JWC wow her performance is unreal. She really shines. I think her entry into jumps is a bit unaesthetic because she bends forward a lot but actually it was improved from the GPs here. Other than that i really think she is fabulous.

^ also the fists could go away, but still... aristocratic beauty on ice. :drama::love:

Her makeup skills have been so on point this entire competition. Never a moment where she doesn't look good.:drama: It looked like she had a lot of fun hanging out with the other skaters in their hotel rooms and at the banquet so I'm so happy for her. Really shows that she can handle being abroad (JUST DO IT KSU).

I agree. She can gain higher scores when senior, as they will be less likely to keep her PCS low. With the super generation just beneath her, it will be difficult to make it to the JGP final anyway, so I think she will do better gaining points and hopefully medals as a senior. I can see her go to senior worlds as well.

hmmm

the chances for her turning senior just got higher

ps. I'm not ready for it btw

idk
it's a feeling that just appeared in my mind

but on a serious note:
-Korea only has 1 spot next year
-the carrot farming of Dabin, Hanul, and Soyoun scares me
-she only has to compete with Dabin for the WR spot (unless Yelim goes seniors too - then that's a different story)
-has higher scoring potential even with her casual mess-ups
-better start working for the Beijing quad now before she gets further buried in the junior division

:ohwell::giveup:
