I am very excited to watch Eun-soo's SP debut. really got excited and emotional. this SP is significantly different from her previous SPs or performance qualities.
her movement, the phrasing and finishing, the inner strength within soft lyrical lines are there. including her breathing is align with the phrasing and purposeful.
All these gave me major Yuna vibe. All those great qualities of Yuna in dance and performance that we love so much about, Eun-soo is getting it.
Also the transitions in this program. I love her counter into-3F and her turns into final combination spin (, they added a little fouette-like free leg styling, I have never seen this kinda transition into spin)

People has been saying that Eun-soo reminds them of Yuna. but actually, mostly is her shape. this SP started to really reminds me some of Yuna's precious skating/dance/performance essence.
 
a little suggestion about the hair styling, the curly ponytail is good, but i hope to see a regular up-do to show more neck-lines. but this is not a big issue.
 
i don't understand why her first fly camel is only level3, she did 3 difficult camel positions plus a edge change that should be lv 4.
 
There are specifically two movements I would have love to see Eunsoo hold longer or least make them more complete: the ina bauer and her arm movement during her spread eagle. But man, that was really beautiful. For a slow tempo’ed music, she was able to carry the music all throughout, nothing in it dragged, and her step sequence is one of the few ones I can rewatch and not get annoyed. Her spins also got so much better than before. She improved so much too on her presensation. I’m so proud of her and can’t wait to see her free skate.

and her white dress matched her white skates.
The only skater that has the long legs and crystal white dress to make EDEA boots look beautiful.
 
Just went back and watched 2018 worlds - everything has truly been upgraded - from her spins to her skating skills etc. I'm kind of amazed at the work Raf and his team did in so little time. I knew Eunsoo just needed to a good coach and she would flourish!
Edit - Is there any way Eunsoo might get a second GP spot?
 
I can't believe how much she's improved since last year. What a talent she is. :shocked:
 
So far, from the programs that we have seen,I think she had the more solid skate. Which of course is promising ...
 
eunsoo is a gorgous skater and really has the whole package. She is fast, has SS, is expressive, musical and her elements (jumps, spins, steps) can be all a +5 GOE on a good day. Pity she got such terrible programs this season. Her FS is ok, if it weren't a recycled Mariah program. Her SP choreography and music is just totally generic. I hope next season she will work with Tom Dickson and Shae-Lynn. There are not a lot of skaters who can work with Dickson, but she can. With Marin being a Lori-girl (stylistically speaking), this could be a nice dynamic in Rafs group...
