Eun-Soo Lim

I re-watched the ending and it wasn’t even one second over; her arms stopped right when the music did!!! :curse: I remember that at the Olympics, Elizabet Tursynbaeva’s score was changed after the SP was over, so I hope they do the same here and at least re-evaluate this.

Hope so. That deduction made no sense.

Protocol is up but no change with placement :noshake: It is somehow understandable as 4CC is being held in the US.

Yup, and now the FS starting order is out too, so now my small hopes of a scoring change are shattered...:(

Well anyways, Eunsoo did a wonderful job today. I'm especially glad to see that she finally got a level 4 on the step sequence. I'm hoping for a strong FS from her!

it was a time violation? seriously? I was watching live and it looked good though :(

Eunsoo was great, despite the small mistake, she improved and it is encouraging because there is still Worlds

Looking forward to the FS :hap85:

I still don't get the time violation, but her smile when she finished was one of the most beautiful things in the world

The time violation was absolutely criminal! What were the judges thinking? And that after they DIDN'T clock a time violation for Yelim Kim who very noticeably had one. Did they jump through time somehow and got their Korean skaters confused?

Does anyone know was the time violation from her music going over 2:50 or was it from her taking more and 30 seconds to get to her starting position?

That perfect free keeps evading squirtle... But she did perform the lights out of the program, and Raf was comforting her at the KnC (I have to say, moving to Raf was one of the best decisions squirtle made in her life) so there's that. I hope she has some time to rest, collect herself, and reach her goal of skating two clean programs at Worlds

A tip for the potential people who discovered Eunsoo recently, if she misses her -3T on her opening 3Lz-3T combo mentally prepare yourself. That means her nerves are flaring up... Really, she is getting better at recovering from falls (shown admirably at the ranking comp) but I have never seen that darling of mine do well after missing the opening combo.

I was there in person for her FS (so lucky I got to see her twice this year!) and she definitely looked tentative throughout. She had a rough 6 minute warm up with some falls and pops and those nerves stayed with her. But she carries such presence on the ice and has so, so much potential --such a promising future.

She did a beautiful 3S in practice, seemed like there was a major calculation/content change going on in her head after she missed that 3T.

Lucky you! Or maybe not cause that was super hard to watch. Her nerves do always seem to get ahead of her don’t they. I think she needs to upgrade BIG TIME if she wants to be competitive next season. 3lz+3lo and 4’s. It seems unlikely but the situation is looking dire.

Ah, Eunsoo, you‘re breaking my heart. I really wanted her to medal. But medal or no medal, for me she‘s still one of the most talented skaters out there. She is special. I just watched her skate. I think it was obvious that, after the missed opening combo, nerves were just getting to her. Shame about that but still: She performed till the end. And Raf was really supportive, that was nice to see. Don‘t be sad, little Squirtle, you still have all the chances at Worlds. :)

Oof
That was nerve-y skate. Hope she stays calm and collected for Worlds. I really wished Korea had 2 Worlds spot but I assume this matter is what's bugging her. She has all that pressure to herself yet she also wants to aim for a higher top 10 placement. I guess the latter shows her stubbornness to work hard and aim high. [emoji28] I think Raf needs to reconfigure her LP a bit for an easier content in Worlds. It's not the best idea score-wise but the CoR LP content worked well for her to stay calm and focused.

Here's a more important question: will we see any Disneyland pics from her? [emoji1787]
