Yeah, I agree... I know she trains a bit overseas, but if she could find a permanent coaching situation over there that would be great(orser has a ton of students already not even including fernandez+hanyu). Korea does little for SS and basically anything that isn't jumping(unfortunately). But yuna herself didn't move to canada to train until she was a senior, so. Here's to a successful rest of the season!

It would help. You can see lacks in her program and they will be improved with time, with season coming but that's the same for other skaters. Korea can't help but be one step behind top countries who've been dominating sport for a while (because figure skating is a truly 'country sport', it's all the same countries who take top 5, top 10 spots with just some skaters like Yuna, Javier making it big from smaller feds). If Korean skaters will keep doing well like they do, the level and conditions will get better as well. I wish Eunsoo could train with well-known, experienced coach but it's not easy choice to make.

Does anyone know if it's true that Eunsoo will be going to Latvia next week? Not a bad travel by flight really but man.... I would love for her to rest instead.

I don't think so... She recently interviewed about that with Korean news right after this competition, and she said that she will prepare for Poland JGP from now on.
Hopefully puberty will be kind to her ..I also watched her program twice or maybe three times. She did amazing!
Obviously, she has to work on a lot of things, specially her posture(which is what bothers me the most about her skating) and her speed could definitely be better.
But then again she's SO young! That's what is really impressive about these ladies. They do amazing even being 13, 14, 15yr old.
I wish a bright future for Eunsoo!
She's already shining like a star!

No matter how much I like the Russian and Japanese skaters, I am happy that there is now a good contender for a JGPF spot that is from a different country.
She also seems very nice. I wish she could participate in the 2018 Olympics in her home country, but alas.
I was thinking about going to Poland to watch. This is an extra incentive to go :thumbsup:

CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT TO POST IN HER FANFEST! CONGRATULATIONS TO EUNSOO FOR A SILVER AND A NEW PB DESPITE MISTAKES!!
She also got a level 4 step sequence which I could hardly believe when I first saw the protocols. +1.20 GOE too. The day has finally come.:hap57: I definitely believe she didn't show even 50% of her real ability in both the SP and FS in Austria. Of course, I loved her and she still grabbed me the most even with that.
It seemed like she was cautious and tired, especially in the long, but jet lag may be a major factor for that. It was 3 AM in Korea when she finally skated her FS.
BUT she got silver anyway in a fabulous manner as usual. Her legs, her form, her costumes, everything is just so gorgeous to me. I love her outfits (except the SP one she used in Austria what was that) and it suits her so it didn't feel age-inappropriate to me, though I admit I was scandalized by it at first. Also her FS seems to be polarizing, but I really like it.
Much better than last year's and I LOVE the music. It's totally my style.
Also the ISU photographer took some god-tier shots there. Wishing her luck in Poland. Show that fierce charisma and break through the 190 range!:luv17:

Ok, guys. Field for JGP Poland, not that bad on first look, sadly Trusova (whyyyyy) so gold won't be there Also Konstantinova and Iwano. As long as she will be solid, medal is there. I hope she will go clean this time, get another medal and JGP Final spot will be hers

Last year, Eun Soo reminded me of a young Radionova with the energy and charisma she showed. This year she has improved so much in terms of artistry, being able to move smoothly where Radionova used to be frenetic when she was Eun Soo's age. Now that Trusova has been moved to Minsk, that is also great news for her as it should be between her and Stasya (whoever is cleaner on the day) to go 1-2 in Poland. Either way should send both to JGPF, so rooting for that outcome!

I think it must be devastating to her, because her dream to JGPF is basically crashed now.
I wish to encourage this young lady.
Judging aside, I wish she can improve on her weakness. I really think that she should be send overseas, to Canada, to improve her spins, SS and choreo. Those areas has not been improved much under her current coaching situation. The improvement that we saw is that her attention to details to her dance/choreo nuances has improved. but I think that perhaps mostly due to her natural talent.
I also wish she can polish up her jump technique even more, it is great that he hasn't lose her jumps even after growth spurt. But she can do even better with better/fitted coaching team.
I think Ted is pretty strict on Squirtle, it shows from his tone that he is not as excited as he first saw Squirtle onto the junior scene. But I think his critic is constructive.
