ISU Statement regarding Bell and Lim

One more reason not to care about TSL

Really, for now I can't think about anything else than squirtle surviving her free

I just saw TSL tweet that ATS did all of this because they need to sell ticket for future show. Which is so ridiculous
Yuna kim doesnt need scandal to sell her shows. I m actually really worried about eunsoo right now. It seems that the bullying allegations would not be investigate

So absurd. Yuna Kim could just breathe in South Korea's direction and her shows would sell out 100000000x tickets just like that. BTW, how could a controversy like this drum up interest in an ice show of all things?

No clean Chicago, but well we can just throw it aside for next season and get a better one for her to be clean in. And she got 2 spots!!! And a SB! And 200+!

Poor thing...
Did you see Eunsoo has a huge hole on her leg(caused by toe pick)? SBS showed... I'm worried about tetanus or something.. Anyway congratulation my baby...

She did really well at her debut in spite of awful situation.
But my heart was broken by seeing how Rafael handled his 16 old protege. No hug, no eyecontact, no word.
Looked like very cold and dismissing. That was cruel for an athletin who has just overcome her demandin challenge with pain.
Perhaps it's better for her ending cowork with Rafael.

I wasn't watching SBS, but the initial reports said that since she got immediate treatment the swelling went down and there was only lingering pains. That bandage broke my heart, but for now I want to be happy for her and what she did

I'm withholding judgement about Raf for now, but I think a hug would've been utterly awkward and more considering the circumstances. Also, I still remember 4CC when after a disastrous free he was pretty comforting to squirtle right after the skate but stoic in the KnC. Raf isn't the most comforting coach, and it seems that unless you're about to become Worlds champion like Nathan Chen you don't get emotional reactions. Besides, for what I saw that darling herself didn't seem to care about Raf's reaction, she was too upset with herself for that mistake. Not necessarily defending Raf, but technically Eunsoo did improve under Raf (her spins are a prime example) so I'm hesitant to just brand him as a bad coach.

It's sad to see what seemed to have been a successful working relationship end, but I will not be surprised if they separate soon. Raf has been notoriously tactless in the past, but come on... you couldn't even pretend to make chit-chat? We know what he's like when he has something to say.

Nevertheless, Eunsoo did great at her first Worlds, and her star will rise only higher from hereon.

I am soo proud of her for going for that 3T after the second lutz - she really fought! And despite the flip, it was a very successful outcome with 130+ FS, 65+ PCS, and 200+ total score. Plus a top 10 finish w 2 spots for Korea. HUGE!

I hope she finds a way to stay with Raf because something is working. But she should of course prioritize her well being and go where she feels safe and supported.

What a mature girl !!!

Eunsoo updated her Instagram today, I am translating for you,

"...
This season ends after a hard, regretful long time.
Firstly, I would like to thank all those who have loved and supported me throughout this season.
I would like to tell you that I'm looking for my happiness now.
I also hope that everyone including me will be happy.
So, please do not blame anyone for me....."

She is so mature girl. I really respect her personality.

After Raf’s interview I hope she has already left him and it’s looking for a new coach.

Let’s just say he behaved in a way not fitting of a coach much less an adult. I have lost a lot of what respect I had for everyone in his team after this incident and wish Eunsoo nothing but the best. Nothing is her fault, something that only lies with the rather disgusting behavior of some select people and her maturity humbles me.

hope she considers moving to Orser. She already has great technique, I feel like Brian can polish her up a bit. He does better with skaters that already has good groundwork.
