was surfing around on the USFSA site looking at the broadcast times and caught that Europeans is late January/Early Feb. With the Olympics being just 2-3 weeks away, how likely is it that we will see full participation at Euros...or is it likely that many countries will send their "B" team....thoughts? How was this handled last time around (granted, Euros is on the same continent as Turino)......

The dates of the actual competition (as opposed to the broadcast) are Jan. 16-22, so that's at least another week that the skaters would have to recover.

I expect that any skaters who are hoping for Olympic medals and who are not feeling 100% as of Euros will stay home to rest and heal, but the majority will choose to compete.

...and from what I've heard, Irina is on the Russian team to be sent there to compete.

More than likely! Euros gives Piseev a chance to stretch his muscles on the plebian europeans.
