Super classy statement I have to add. I think Evgenia will go far wherever she is geographically. I do not know her personally but given her facility with English and love for anime I suspect she is quite internationally minded.
Anyway I wasn’t a fan before but I will be rooting for her from now on. Classy, beautiful inside and out.

Very classy from Evgenia, big contrast to Eteri who aired supposed dirty laundry between them and even Alina on TV. Best of luck in Canada, Evgenia! She may not be able to fix her flutz but I'm more excited at the chance of new choreography.
I also look forward, but I hope Eteri will win... Go Eteri... She's just a colourful character

The drama for the summer. Thank you Eteri and Evgenia for providing the gossip in this otherwise boring summer. 
Training abroad is much more expensive than in Russia. Who's going to pay for that?

She's won everything for 2 years, got Olympic and European medals this year, has a deal with Pantene, received prize money from Russia, is doing a ton of shows and has a sponsorship with Nike. You'd think she can afford Orser, considering Lil Bet can and hasn't won nearly as much, nor does she have sponsorships.

And people thought Brian Orser was low for simply revealing the program choice, when he and Yuna broke up their partnership. Now THAT is an actual low.
Training abroad is much more expensive than in Russia. Who's going to pay for that?
Whoever will pay for it it isn't our business.
I doubt that they will invest more than they usually do. Katsalapov trained abroad and was always complaining in this respect.
Probably, Evgenia will pay or she has sponsors.

I have a feeling Eteri just got ghosted by not only her fave student but also the RusFed. RusFed can be an incredible pain to deal with when they don't want you to switch coach. Exhibit A: Yulia. But this coaching change goes super smoothly for Evgenia - she must have the support of somebody in RusFed. I suppose she got green lights to approach BOrser as well - the girl's rich but four years is a long time, and if the fed joins the mudslinging sponsors are not gonna stay.

I don't know how it will turn out for Zhenya but I'm wishing the best for her !
While being Russian, training in an international center can only be beneficial for development.
I hope she takes the Canadian way : they have great basic skating skills and good knees because they keep working on it through their career. They focus on health over shape - look at all the Canadian women : so muscular in comparaison to everyone. Yet they're the one who thrived at the games and have Team Gold. They can also peak very late in their career.
(And for Russia having one of your top skater training abroad in the main rival country might open doors... both ways)

I don't know why but I really empathize with Eteri. Maybe because I have the feeling that she needs this more
I think she needs a lesson in childhood psychology and some humility. She has shown her true colours and has acted really poorly.
Brian doesn't take maxed out skaters so he must see something in Evgenia. I hope ShaeLynn/Jeff Buttle/David Wilson choreograph some programs for her. I'm really interested in seeing the results.

I'm honestly so excited to the see the new season. Hopefully both Evgenia and Boyang improve as athletes.
