Am I the only one that misses Zhenya's 3S3T? I understand why she dropped it, but I still miss it.

Wait why did she drop 3S-3T? I get dropping the flip combo, but is 2A-3T better for the layout? Not sure I understand layouts enough to know

So she can do 3s3lo without repeating the 3s.

I would really like Zhenya to drop the 3F-2T-2T combo, that's the combination where she gets the lowest goe. She could do instead 3lo-eu-3s or 3f-eu-3s

She can't due to the Zayak rule. Only two triples can be repeated. She needs the 2T2T combo unless she lands a Quad.

Autumn Classic starts September 12th which is approximately 5 months from now give or take 10 days. The GP season about a month after. How long will she be touring? 6 weeks? 8 weeks? Shorter? Longer? That gives her 3 to 3.5 months to learn the 4S because to me it sounds like they haven’t started. I’m just wondering the possibility of seeing next season, I don’t know how long it takes to lean a quad

I doe think she'll be jumping it next season. Can't even imagine it. But she said it before a couple of times that she had tried it with Eteri, never landed it though. I remember she was laughing and said : "I fell but they (coaches) said it was beautiful".

I could maybe see that, I am curious how much skaters practice new jumps once the season starts, because risk of injuries or trying to perfect a program, etc.

I don't know anything about practicing new jumps, but judging from different interviews, I believe skaters tend to start practicing new jumps off-season, then it depends on how it goes. I remeber Zhenya's interview right before Worlds 2017, where she said that during preparation time they were perfecting her programmes, but she also learned new loop combinations. About Zhenya's quad, yes, I believe it's for 2020-2021, then she'll have a whole season before the Olympic season to practice it during competitions.

So Yevgeniya has stayed in Japan, then will travel to Korea, before returning to Canada end of April before off season finally starts for her, half of May.

Tough schedule, because lots of spare time, traveling or idling in some hotel room. What will she do between April 7 and 19? Return to Moscow or Canada?
She is not to be envied, but such is the life of a pro-skater during show season, living out of a suitcase.
Hopefully there is sufficient time to rest, heal and recharge.

I haven't looked at the BV. I was thinking more of the goe she could get. She doesn't have much flow out of the -2T-2T combo. Also if she starts trainning for 4S, IDK how reliable is going to be her 3S3Lo combo. But I'm sure she and her team will look at all the possibilities.

so sweet to see them interacting, they seem like great support systems for each other.

the thought of potentially seeing a Zhenya 4S and/or 4T in the near future fills me with both excitement and nerves on one hand, the 4S in particular is sure to be a thing of beauty, but I wonder how long it will take to become consistent? Maybe it will only be unveiled later in the season like lilbet did this year, or perhaps it won't debut until the 2020/2021 season?

Since the time he went to Orser, 2012 & 2013 Yuzuru did Finlandia.
2014 onwards it was ACI.

2015, in 2014 Yuzu was scheduled to compete at Finlandia but WD due to a back injury.

But I say she will be there in all probability. TCC has so many skaters it's best to have them all in a single Challenger
