I agree about the 2A+3Lo combo, it‘s so unique and beautiful. And it looked great last season in practice, it was a shame it didn‘t work out in competition. But I guess it was just too much at the time. I hope this season they don‘t change the layout as often but rather choose one at the beginning and only make minimal changes to it.


I think this layout is too ambitious right now but it‘s something I could imagine to develop slowly over the next years. I‘d say it would be great if she could include a +Eu+3S and/or the 2A+3Lo combos in her programs this year and start to seriously work on the quad in practice. One step at a time. First the new combos, then next year she could debut the 4S.

Same. I’m so curious! Especially since it‘s Memoirs of a Geisha, which I don‘t think is Misha‘s style. I don’t want it to be Wilson, so I‘m hoping for someone else entirely...

It is very clear. And it makes me sad. Because it forces me to take sides when that‘s the last I want. But it‘s been the last straw for me and there are things I cannot support.

I hope Zhenya does Bad Guy regardless; especially if she already had it planned and choreographed. She feels this music and she‘s put her heart into it. Why not do it anyway? The audience loved Ariana Grande, they will love this too. I‘d understand if she felt uncomfortable after everything that‘s happened and I wouldn‘t mind seeing a different exhibition. There are tons of things she can do! She already has lots of great exhibitions, she could do her new SP or Tosca or something new entirely to EXO or another Billie Eilish song.

But nevertheless, I would find it very sad if she had to change something she‘d prepared as a surprise and was excited about just because of these circumstances.

I don't think Evgenia will use that song as her exhibition music. It would stir the pot too much and she doesn't seem like a pot stirrer. But if she did do it as a one-time exhibition in Japan it would be okay and the world would not end.

On a side note are people really impressed with that song Bad Guy? I just watched the video for the first time because of all the hullabaloo over it yesterday and I wasn't impressed. But that's just my opinion. Another opinion of mine is Zhenya can do much better with her exhibition music than that song. And she will!

Billie is a very young artist and produces unique music which seems to go well with young audiences :) Zhenya is very young so she finds such music appealing. I like the song too :) didn't see the video though.

In the end, Zhenya will do what she feels most comfortable with. I‘d accept either choice. I was just thinking that not doing the exhibition altogether would be pretty sad. I mean, she‘d planned this and put her heart into skating to it and working on it to prepare it for her shows. She can at least do it in Japan!

I don‘t think she‘ll use it as her main exhibition either, she‘ll probably choose something else for the season. But she usually does that, she‘s doing lots of different exhibitions during the off-season and settles down for one or two during the competitive one. So, I guess, they‘ll work on something new and that‘s okay. She‘ll find something great, she has interest in lots of different styles of music. I just meant that it would be a shame not to at least show the program she‘d prepared as a surprise.

I'm like 99% sure she had it prepared and probably wanted to show it at FOI in a few days, and that's just beyond sad and unfair.
I was wondering however, because I suppose skaters submit their music choices to show organizers and as somebody previously mentioned, I also doubt they would allow two skaters skate to the same music at a show. Maybe she already sumbitted it and will skate to it at FOI reagardless? I don't know how it works behind the scenes, but I would assume skaters should share their music with organizers even to avoid some inappropiate choices and duplicating music among skaters. If this is the case she would be the first to actually use this music therefore it wouldn't be weird if she then kept it for EX during competition season ;)

Well, if that‘s the case then she could certainly still do it. I really hope she already had it submitted. This could prevent her from having to face a lot of accusations because she could just say: “I planned to skate to this music, I submitted it and I did it fair and square.“ Zhenya loves Billie Eilish and her music and it would be sad if she couldn‘t show it.

And if there’s two skaters using the same music... then so be it. The two people in question don‘t even meet at competitions until December, so it would only be a issue during those few shows in Japan.
