Evgenia Medvedeva

On twitter i am seeing a lot of posts with #MemoirsofZhenya. Does anybody know what it is about?

A lot of people (including fans in Japan) didn't like dance video in the park especially as situation in Japan regarding epidemic is becoming worse and Prime Minister of Japan asked people to stay at home unless they need to make some urgent travels. There are also voices that she moved from Tokyo even though travels were also discouraged. I guess it's some sort of support tag

Those that don't like her action should just sit down and breathe. She wears a mask no one is near her so there is no danger at all not to her not from her to others. Were exactly should she get the virus or give it to soemeon if no one is around her and she wears a mask too? Some times I think that this virus also kills some braincells or shuts of people's questioning ability

The drama did not start because of the dancing video it started long far before that because of some fake tweets by some fake accounts.. but I won't elaborate here because I don't want to start drama. There is enough on Twitter.

Edit: Also those people are not "fans" nor are they really worried and some of them are not even Japanese although the claim to be (they forgot to delete their old Russian tweets/insta posts lol) Those people that started the drama are the same users that have been harrassing Zhenya online for years, their names are known in the FS community, we have seen them around the past years. They are also the same people that started the rumours that they allegedly had a cousin who had a cousin who had a brother who had a sister that allegedly saw Zhenya buying food (the crime!!!!!!), so you know how serious you can take these rumours, meaning nill. Just have a look at these peoples profiles, whose fan they are and you know their agenda :)

And that's why there are at least 7 people in the background in the video, including a group of 4 near one table ;)
[I'm in the country where only two people are allowed to stay together outside].

It's been two years since all that "affair" with Zhenia started. I'm so sorry she needs to bear it for such a long time. In this case it's so clear that all this is due to pure jealousy...

Whenever I think the malevolence towards Zhenya couldn't reach a new height it does just that. I feel so sad for her for everything she has to go through.

About the Japan situation, we don't have enough information to really judge her actions but based on what we know I would've done exactly the same.

Where did she move to she moves from Tokyo?

I did not see this video in the park. Hopefully it's not a big deal. But apparently it was.

People recognised city from pictures she posted in her stories as Hachinohe as well as interiors of one of hotels from her live. It's far north city and apparently local rink was allowing reservations last week. It's all I got from social media

Thanks.

Zhenya like the rest of the world must be so frustrated by this virus and what it's doing. Everyone's patience is being tested.

Regarding this new wave of hatred towards Zhenya, I would like to comment that I adhere to the words of Lunalovesskating , icetug , thatbeatingheart and fabienne1996.

Whatever the reason it’s this time (which wasn’t the dance of course because it started before the dance) it’s clear that this wave of hatred towards Zhenya started after the Olympics not only doesn’t end, but it renews all the years mainly in the off season. One would think that it’s clearly a campaign orchestrated against her by people with a particular interest. Because the problem isn’t in the tweets of some accounts that slander Zhenya with lies. The main problem is in the use that important Russian medias make of it, taking as source of truthful information a handful of tweets with false information and writing articles in which it’s claimed that this information is true, trying to convince people that this is real and promote a hate campaign towards Zhenya that is suspicious and also tremendously unfair. They aren’t even able to corroborate some of the user names of those accounts where they would get the answers to the reason for those tweets.

Instead of writing these articles promoting bullying, they should write articles condemning it. But not only they don´t do it, they encourage it even more. Paradoxically, these same medias are those that when some misfortune happens with people who have been systematically harassed, they come to regret what happened, highlighting how good person was the person who had been harassed by themselves up to that moment. An incredible level of hypocrisy!

On the other hand I’m glad that Zhenya has deleted her twitter account and that she has done account cleaning at IG. Closing the comments also seems like a wise decision at the moment.

I would have more things to say but the truth is that I’m already tired of all this affair that seems to never end. I hope that Zhenya remains healthy and that she overcome this new wave of bullying towards her once again.

In case you have time and want to read them, I would like to leave a couple of links with two articles on this matter, ones of the few that refer to the harassment that Zhenya suffers and with which I agree in many of its arguments.

A question I meant to ask before the lockdown but did Evgenia switch back to Edea? I vaguely remember seeing her posting a pic or video where it seemed like she was back in Edea Piano

Thanks for the articles. The over-the-top outrageous criticism of every Zhenya alleged globetrotting is unbelievable. I've not been here in a couple weeks I just decided to check it out tonight and I can't believe what I'm reading and then I went to Google and put in her name and to read all these comments about supposedly people in Japan are asking her to leave. Sad. I have no doubt she's receiving support too but the criticism always gets the headlines.

On a side note and I nevertalk about skaters looks but the second article had a picture of Zhenya and it's the most beautiful picture I've ever seen of her. Very natural very nice. You don't exactly look at that picture and think international trouble maker. ;) I can't wait until we get back to a sense of normalcy in our lives. But it may be a while.

Completely agree with you, to me this is an orchestrated campaign and i think the reason behind is just fear - fear that Zhenya stays in form and strong, while others may be are not...., which on top of everything can have big impact, reputational, but also mainly financial for the parties involved...

These people claim she is there because they analyzed the color of the cherry blossoms and google searched am online guide which tells you when cherry blossoms are which color where in Japan every year, if that does not sound like complete bogus I don't know what. Also claiming she is in a certain hotel because of the color of her ceiling is the most stalkery and crazy thing I have heard in a while. Like there are no other places with white/grey ceilings.
I give these people zero credibility, they have invented things in the past and they keep on doing it now. They are stalkers, always been, always will. Look at their profiles, their posts over the past few years, every time some crazy rumour starts about Zhenya they are the ones who invented them and I emphasize "invented" as they never provide any proof for their rumours. The same users also claim that Zhenya wrote her hate letter last year herself
Zhenya herseld made it clear that she hasn't skated in Japan. Her "I miss ice" could not be any more clear.

Also these people cried and whined on Twitter that neither the ambassy nor authoraties in Japan, which they contacted to complain about Zhenya, believed their complete bogus conspiracy theories, if that does not tell you everything about those people.

I would hope that you would stop spreading these peoples conspiracy theories in here as they have zero proof nor any credibility. This is Zhenya's fan fest and not a place to give the people who hate her any more attention.

Let's hope her Japanese guide does his/her duty and gives advice to prevent more damage to Yevgeniya's image in Japan.

Advice on what? How to stop people from inventing rumours on Twitter?
Zhenya has not broken any law nor did she do anything illegal.
