A lot of people bad-mouthed Ermolina. ;)
When I first heard about the controversy of this press conference then I watched it with the captions in English and then I had to watch it again and I wondered what was I missing? There was only a slight disagreement on whether both teams were winners or there was only one winner. Of course both is true one team got the trophy one team the audience award and they were both winners.

Jenna was fine in this interview. We know she was upset about the draw and how it was done. she should be able to explain why the drawer upset her without people hating on her. There were only minor issues this was not some outrageous press conference that got out of control.

It certainly was not the crazy horrible Conor McGregor Floyd Mayweather press conference if you remember that one. ;)

Both ladies stood their ground in this press conference after the team event and I'm good with it.

My take on it was that Ermolina's comment was similar to some of the things that Eteri said at the Olympics, about both Zhenya and Alina being gold medalists, and it seemed to (understandably) offend Alina a little bit, and then Zhenya and Alina nipped at each other with some mildly snarky comments, and everyone blew it out of proportion. Zhenya obviously (and understandably) did not like the team selection process, and Alina did not like Ermolina's comment (also understandably). I don't think Ermolina was trying to upset anyone or be controversial; she just didn't likely think too much about how Alina might receive her comment before she stated it. Neither Zhenya nor Alina were particularly polite, nor was either of them particularly nasty. It was much ado about nothing, but that's how figure skating fandom seems to work.

Exacticly.

We want to see these ice queens be human and they were human. Why do you pointed out with the fandom 50 that's the boiling point in all of this There was no reason for this press conference to be made to spin out of control which it really did not.

Ermine did not think there would be any issues. Again I think it was blown out of proportion.

It's also accurate that neither lady was impolite or polite. I'm sure both girls are like what the h*** is all the furor about?

Good analogy about how the comment from Ermolina was like there are 2 winners today like EG said they were both golden after olympics. Alina did not want to hear that but she also complimented Zhenyas team.

The team event was not perfect but it was pretty good and very exciting. Much better than I ever imagined. I remember thinking a couple weeks ago what is this they've come up with?

"SING WITHOUT RULES. SPECIAL ISSUE PREMIERE. The guests of the special edition of the show, in which talented musicians try to sing no matter what, will be Olga Seryabkina, Glucose (Natalia Chistyakova-Ionova), Anna Sedokova and ... figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva! What difficulties will the team of the most creative testers, headed by Sobolev, throw them?"
