Evgenia Medvedeva

Alyona may be the next target. Under her SP video from Gdansk (as it was her first international performance) there was nearly war in comments.

I hoped this video would never end! So freaking good!!! :luv17: And she has a new position in the CoSp before the layback (4:20) :hap85:
If she has this conviction and quality of jumps at the competition no one's stopping her!

So beautiful. She is the queen.

marin honda had an absolutley clean skate at junior worlds (and that's THE ONLY TIME when she skated clean in her life) and still lost to alina with a 7 points gap (for juniors where everyone are tied at the same PCS range it's quite a lot)
it doesn't look to me like she could beat her.
although she actually beat her once in slovenia, alongside with rika, when alina had the only disastrous fs in her career

how did you get in the penalty box again??

Oh my God, I couldn't connect to the GS forum for a couple of days since shortly before the last team event day 😱 If this happens next week during the Ladies event, I dont know how I would survive this because I have no TV 😰
Good that there was instagram, so I was at least able to see some photos from the medal/flowet ceremony. Congrats on Zhenya and her team for the silver!! 🙌
Also, based on Alina's score I would say they prepare us for a WR next time but also kind of spare the points for Medvedeva on the condition that she is perfectly clean. I think there's still a chance for Evgenia getting the deserved gold 👍

That practice video was absolutely great.
The jumps had so much flow and look so effortless, even the 2A, which suffered the most from the injury, looked great.
She changed the entry to the lutz, from the angle I can’t tell the edge, but it looks better. Let’s hope for nothing worse than a !.
She’s already miles and miles ahead of what she put out in Euros, and that’s in such a short amount of time.
Indeed, if she performs her jumps this way, she’ll win, IMO.

I agree, she looks much better than she did at Euros. The battle between her and Alina will be absolutely epic!

Absolutely clean Zhenya could score: 81+160
Absolutely clean Alina could score: 80+158 (maybe even more if her PCS increase again). It's gonna be wild.

...and after the battle was won, the Tsarina and her trusty sidekick, the red ballerina, were gone. People looked everywhere for them, all around the Olympic village. They finally ran into Yuzuru and asked him “where has the Tsarina gone? Has she abandoned us?”

But Yuzuru just laughed and shook his head. “The Tsarina? Oh, don’t you worry, she will be back. The real battle is yet to be fought, you see, and she wouldn’t miss it for the world!”

Cool
