Evgenia Medvedeva

Osmond has a chance to win worlds now.

Let's not take volk's post oversensitive. I'm huge fan and sometimes strong defender of Zhenya and Alina against many BS, but I just take this as personal opinion or expressing of possibility (although I consider it improbable).

Ok but what exactly is new here? Has this possibility somehow occurred just now? Everyone has a chance to win at any time if they manage to skate as clean as Zhenya or Alina, and the two do not. Why write something so obvious and irrelevant in this thread other then to provoke someone? :rolleye:

Everyone? I do not think so.

Zhenya said she gave it her all for Olympics performance. This was a mentally draining experience for her. Without proper chance to rest she may not skate well at worlds. Alina went through a similar experience. I thought she could handle it better because she's 15, but now I'm not so sure.

Zhenya said she gave her all in euro too and she said she did what she could "at the moment". She didnt say it was the skate of her life, not to mention the sp didnt make her happy.
She held herself quite well in nhk and rostelecom while injured so dont expect her to fall more than twice. Kaethlyn is inconsistent even in normal situation so which chance do you see.
Alina high bv gonna save her and her pcs is higher than Osmond now and i also dont see her would mess up so badly.

If they’re so tired now, I have faith eteri has a plan for rest for the both of them before worlds. She’s been through this media circus with yulia once before.

Russian fed is in the enviable position of having the top two ladies skaters in the world right now. So if one doesn’t deliver, the other will. I hope they are not abusing their luck by exhausting both girls, banking in at least one of them delivering at worlds :noshake:

Guys, let's stop with this negativity now! Zhenya is happy and more loved than ever. It's perfectly normal for her to be tired, but I'm sure she will get a couple of days to rest before she will start her training for the WC! There is no reason to be alarmed.

I have to say, this moment: https://youtu.be/vTggTGGX1tI?t=6m24s (6:24 and on, especially when she puts her hands on her face to hide her blushing) really warms my heart. Evgenia seems to be so touched and happy to have so much support - I haven't seen her act like that for a while.

I feared she might feel down after the Olympics, but I have to say that her home country and us, her fans, seem to have really made her feel like a true winner and a great champion that she is :hap93: :thank: :ghug:

2 weeks until worlds, the only things to look forward to are Wakaba and Zhenya photos
