From the relatively short time I've been a fan of hers I've been amazed by her loyal fan base. That fan Olympic gold medal they gave her a couple of months ago was astonishing and quite emotional. I've never seen something like that before for an athlete.

She offically changed her surname to Medvedeva when she was a little girl. (Her parents made this decision)

Liam is Aljona Savchenko's husbans. He is a great artist and has been making drawings of one of the finest in the figure skating world since the Olympics. Zhenya is one of them! It's amazing how accurate the coloring of the dress is! :jaw:

The colours used are amazing! It's a stunning drawing and really encompasses the expression and artistry she brings to the ice.
 
Yes guys, Zhenya has said in many interviews that it's only three of them at home: she, her mother, her grandmother, and well, also Jerry. I think Wikipedia has many errors and someone must edit it. Karina is her cousin, she has no siblings. in the beginning of this thread it was said, and Evgenia herself said it in her ask.fm.


I think Jerry will stay with her grandmother to keep her company. Poor thing, Jerry looked so sad !! .This decision should have been so difficult for the whole family, but it is so admirable that they support Zhenya so much.

I really enjoyed her session with Nike, she and Misha designing their outfits. I think it's great that sports brands let them customize their outfits / implements. As it is happening with the blades! what beautiful rose gold for Evgenia.
now just wait for the move and the start of training:drama:
