2. Is it just me or her axel is indeed bigger?
3. I love how sassy this program is without telling tragic story. Zhenya looks so happy and I can't wait how it will develop and become more polish as season goes by

I was so skeptical about this program initially but I LOVE IT! It’s such a good look on her and it’s so sassy and mature!
On a side note: I love how she was so excited to hug Brian at the end of her program! It really shows that she’s become so comfortable around him!

My thoughts on the new SP:
- She skates visibly faster and "smoother", doesn't need to push so much in order to gain speed
- the Lz was e, but the speed into it was bigger than before (she entered it without hesitating) and also the axis and the landing were better, I assume they are already working on it
- the axel is slightly bigger, I think she's still insecure about it but still approached it faster than usual and nailed the landing
- I don't know about the spins. If they are split into 3x2 positions, does she get a level 4?
- I liked the steps and the choreography very much. Some of you might remember that I was very sceptical about the music choice but she proved me wrong. It fits her perfectly. She's showing her raw performing talent, it feels real and not as if someone has told her to act like that.
- love those golden blades and the hair! Maybe that's her new combat hairstyle

Woah! Imagine my surprise when I woke up and came to check the thread and saw what I slept through!
I love the short program, and especially that Zhenya finally gets to skate to something happy in her senior career
She looks really good! I took a quick look at the 3lz, and it's still definitely inside edge, but guys, her pick was only with the toe instead of most of the blade! And her prerotation seemed to me like about 120-150 degrees! I'm really excited about this, and although I'll have to go look at old videos to make proper comparisons, but I'm just... really happy... because her 3lz looks good...

I'm crying, I love it so much and her axel (and lutz) have gotten so much better, she looks incredible
also liking how they upgraded to three higher spins in the short as opposed to having the layback
Yes her toe assist at the lutz was so much better.

A lot less transitions than she used to have and it lets her choreo breathe, if that makes sense! (i suck at describing things in english)
It's a program with breathing room, yeah. Zhenya has the artistry and musicality to make simpler movements between elements interesting, though. So it's just less cramped, but still as or more enjoyable to watch
