That sounds like a quote for the history books.

I'm currently watching some live YouTube video of the Nebelhorn Trophy and gosh the live chat is toxic. I don't get why they have to talk trash about Evgeniajust because they prefer Alina. These girls don't deserve such animosity.

I prefer to concentrate on positive things. Like watching Evgenia's sp again. You can see by YT comments under the song that Zhenya promoted it really well :agree:

Yeah, I noticed that as well. In summer, when I didn‘t know the song and wanted to check it out on Youtube there suddenly were all kinds of comments like “Who‘s here because of Zhenya?“ or “OMG Zhenya‘s music!!“ and I was like... wow. Maybe she should take money for making the song so popular. But she‘d never do that of course, as humble as she is!![]()

Do you think Evgenia will compete at the 4 Continents this January in California?
Most of the haters and some of the worst seem to come from Russia. Most people outside of Russia seem to really like her.
non-russian fans about one particular skater last week after some airport matter. But I would receive some warning again that I'm not positive and that this is positive (or even the most positive) thread here
When bitterness is mentioned, than I would like to disscuss what was said by particular "very positive"non-russian fans about one particular skater last week after some airport matter. I know it’s been discussed that Evgenia’s layout for the SP and FS will probably change and continue to evolve as the season progresses. There are many variables, of course, particularly on Evgenia’s part considering the circumstances. But boy is there a wide gap in terms of base value of her programs v her competitions (particularly her closest competitors). I can’t wait to see her in her top form (I know this might happen for a bit since the plan is more long term than anything).
I know the next couple of years are re-building years for Zhenya, but I just hope She does well enough to make the Russian team. The Russian skating federation might pull her funding for training with Brian & Tracy if the results aren’t there. Fingers crossed.

Question though. There are other Russian Seniors who I have never heard of who compete and have Grand Prix assignments. They don't make the top 3 in major competitions, at least not that I am aware of. So if they are still supported by the Russian Fed why wouldn't Zhenya? Is it because they are probably spending more on Zhenya because she is coached abroad (there is a more of a risk of pulling the funding if there are not the results they want)?
Coaching abroad is more expensive I believe. Besides RusFeds would pull the logic "You did better under Russian coach so come back to Russia"
