I know this is not how it works and it wouldn’t be fair to the other ladies but imo the most entertaining and exciting would be to see Evgenia and Alina go to Euros and Worlds. There just isn’t anything that beats a good sports rivalry. Oh well hopefully next season!

I was like a lunatic when she landed it in competition. I'm glad nobody saw my reaction. What a beautifully executed combo.

But the highlight was when she made that hand gesture to the crowd - boy if that's not a clear enough message that SHE is back, I don't know what it. I loved it - that a real POWER MOVE.

I looooved the gesture. Rewatching from that moment and into the Libertango, there's so much energy and charisma from her!

Yeah I read it and was like "no girl, please don't". Wrong move. I hope someone's going to talk her out of that.

BUT she also said she'd be doing another instagram livestream today. So that's good! But after that, Zhenya, please just don't.

Yeah, I know it's very grim for her.
Sonya was consistent on every competition and Stasya had good programs at Nationals.
Zhenya, on the other had couldn't skate 100% yet, and she would definitely beat both if clean.
And Stasya isn't very consisteb either, so the question is: will Rusfed bet on a clean Evgenia for the Europeans? Is it worth a shot?

I don't know now. Evgenia had the highest free skate total of the seniors, so I don't think anything is decided.

If by any chance the Fed decides to send her to Euros and Worlds, could she say no (considering that it might benefit her to get this time to rest and train without the pressure of competition) or would that put her in some trouble with them? My selfish desires to see her competing again soon are making me feel conflicted about this ��

Can someone explain to me how her FS step sequence was deemed only level 3??

I'm not an expert on step sequences at all but I was curious too so I just spent half an hour examining her steps at half speed I think she missed the 'two different combinations of 3 difficult turns on different feet' feature; her first attempt is LBI counter - LFI counter - LBI rocker (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6vtj_Wl9_0 at 4:00), but it looks like she changes edge before the rocker, turning it into an LBO three turn instead (changes of edge and three turns are both not allowed). Her next combination is RFO twizzle - RBI rocker - RFI rocker (at 4:19), which looks fine to me so I guess the first attempt/change of edge did get called. Or it's a different reason entirely, in which case feel free to correct me

So Euros. Alina, Stasya and Zhenya. Worlds. Alina, Eliza, Sophia. They need Sofia at Worlds, she has been clean all season, so she will be no lower than 8th at Worlds.
