Evgenia Medvedeva

Ahrg i am beginning to dislike the russian lady threat. Funny how many like to twist ones words to suit their need.

Russian ladies ”threat” is exactly the right description. Sorry for twisting a spelling mistake like that but in this case it fits just so well!

If you are a person that generally doesn‘t want to have her blood boiling from the insane ridiculousness going on in some people‘s mind, I would advise you to stay away from this thread. I‘m trying to improve my abilities to discuss in English (and also my patience) that‘s why I‘m still hanging around there. It‘s often pretty tiresome, though. And just evokes feelings of plain: :palmf: :palmf:

Okay let’s just assume that Zhenya’s season is over for this year. With the 3 killer juniors joining the seniors for 2019-2020, what can we expected for Zhenya in terms of GP assignments?

I think her season‘s best is high enough to get two GP assignments and given her popularity, she would be invited somewhere regardless.

Well, right now she is number 6, I believe. It's highly likely that Stanislava and Sonya will also be.above her in terms of points. This will make her number 9. I might be wrong though.

Oh no I’ve built up expectations lol It wasn’t exactly positive that’s the whole reason I wanted to put it in spoilers and it’s sort of off topic.I’ll just keep it as vague as possible and if you know then you know. Please ignore it I just needed to get this off my chest - there is a user on here that has changed their name but also posts on the another site forum and seems to post the most vile things about Zhenya (to the point I had to screenshot it was so ridiculous), but then posts here as if they are some voice of reason. It’s just frustrating to see. Anyway, everyone carry on with the positive conversation! I realize it’s so silly, it’s just the internet, but It’s just been bothering me.

I also browse the figure skating another site page and I can only think of 2-3 users who consistently post hateful, negative comments about Zhenya. Usually such comments are downvoted by other another site users.

If you feel comfortable doing so, could you dm me the name of the user you mentioned?

Uupss ,damm autocorrectur [emoji23][emoji23][emoji85] but yep you are right it fits. Yes I really want to bang my head into a wall reading some comments in there

I think these girls will have at least 2 more years (until/if) any problems starts showing. Please note, I didn't mean anything bad by that, they are really spectacular.
It depends on when their body begins to change and how much, Sasha is already growing if I hear correctly. Some are early bloomers some late bloomers. I myself was one of the very early ones.i basically began my puberty at 11 or 12. And I finished growing at the age of 13/14? What still changes was my curves and well my hormones which is the natural process of puberty. I was one of the biggest ones when we were like 10 years old and than when I reached my 1,62 to 1,63cm I stopped growing and everyone else caught up with me. Since they are trying to delay it as much as possible it could be that they suddenly get everything at the same moment. I mean I didn't get 10 cm in 8 months , it was gradually over the years. I mean when I saw Yulia Olympic performances she looked like an 11/12 year old girl not like she was 15 years old.

Next Year Russian Nationals are going to be....I don't even know how to name them... Blood bath is too weak.

Evgenia's body LITERALLY started falling apart and some people still say "well why did she need to change?" Sigh.
Well but hey in those people's mind it is just natural for a body to start falling apart. And be expected to just continue on like nothing ever happened at all. Insert Facepalm right here.

What’s worse is that she was not the first and she is not the last. It is what it is. Medal sweeps are nice and long careers take a bit more thought than tiny super humans who are shelved when problems arise.

And now it beginns with alina, i do hope they can help her come through it ok. But hey her fans say alina is just having a bad day. For fans they really are a bit blind i mean she looks as if she is in pain, there is a foto with her swollen ankle her legs are taped as if her knee is some broken china which needs to be taped together but no everything is tinder and dandy with her. Wonder what they will say if the bodies of Sasha and Anna begin to to break to. Which hopefully will not happen but from what I have seen it is a huge possibility.

Let's focus on Evgenia in her own fanfest. :)

It is cruel of you to speculate like this on the health of other skaters. You do not know what they are going through and yet you feel like you can predict that they will be broken.

I love how active this thread has been. For me, this fanfest is the only place without much toxicity in the online skating community. I hope during the looong off season we will somehow manage to stay active.

I’m not sure this person had any bad intentions. If you look at the link I have added the evidence is there. She is injured. Also Alina was merely mentioned in relation to the need for skaters to do what is best for their health and longevity.
