I haven't commented on this thread before, but I love Evgenia, she's one of my favourite Russian girls (if anyone is allowed to beat Elena in my eyes, it's her). Anyway, I found this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Orll7zf4-Ho I haven't seen any other montages on youtube about her so I enjoyed watching this one
OMG! :shocked:http://websta.me/p/1014279226878176883_332497154 how beautiful she is!!!
http://www.rockerskating.com/news/2015/7/16/5-pre-preview-thoughts-on-2015-skate-americaRussian junior champ and senior bronze medalist Evgenia Medvedeva will bring her elegance and array of Tano triples to Milwaukee. She will also be a medal contender
Radionova doesn't count as a skater? There is also Averbukh's interview about Jenya http://www.team-russia2014.ru/article/figur/22253.html
He seems to be extremely impressed with their collaboration, with her hard work and ability to correspond and understand.
She is the only skater he worked with this season. It sounds like their program def. has something to say, and Averbukh says Jenya works on maximum to show it.
With all that said, it seems like she may have an amazing season! Looking forward to it.
I assumed it according to his answer:Radionova doesn't count as a skater?
I assumed it according to his answer:
"-Who else did you work with as a choreographer in current off-season?
- Noone (smiles). I was choreographing(directing) my big play "Carmen", which runs in Sochin with success. In Fall we will bring it to Moscow. It became very complex, big work - it took me a lot of energy and time. Only a few were ready to wait until I get free, so in this season I concentrated on Jenya. I think it is right, because the matter is not in quantity of programs but in their quality. I do want for this program to sound, to be understood correctly. The program is already ready, but we agreed that I will be present at the training sessions - will help Jenya to work on her skate and her image."
Did he do programs for Lena at the end of the last season then?
Morozov did the LP, Averbukh did the SP. Who knows what he really means. Either selective memory or selective interpretation of "off-season".Or wait, it is Morozov who Elena works with this season, or only for LP?
Actually, they won their World title with their CD and OD, as Virtue/Moir won the FD then. Anyway, I believe that there are many people who think that Delobel/Schoenfelder's 'The Piano' FD was much better than Virtue/Moirs 'The Umbrellas Cherbourg'. I didn't think so then, nor did I think that later, but probably I would think differently if I watched the two FDs one after the other now.I'm really excited for her programs!
Side note: Delobel & Schoenfelder used sign language in their incredible LP set to "The Piano" which they won their World title with in 2008.
If you talk about choreography, then I think D/S had better choreography, but technique and connection and performance quality it's V/M.Actually, they won their World title with their CD and OD, as Virtue/Moir won the FD then.
