Evgenia Medvedeva

She looks in BETTER shape, actually. More curves and muscles, her legs look less like twigs, it's healthy. :)

Better shape??? Are you kidding me? She skated much slower, than usually. Her spins were not good too. And jumps - fall on the 3F (one of her best jumps), mistakes on the landing at 3S-3T and 3Lo-3T. And the program itself... usually her programs are full of transitions and choreography... No signs of that at Sailor Moon EX. At the same time, I agree that it was the most difficult GALA at Dreams on Ice. 5 triple jumps... good. But her shape is not good enough. I hope that it's stiil all about beginning of the season, not puberty.

By the way, I can't see much body changes here (July 13, training session video) - https://youtu.be/zarsT_hOZ0I?t=2m31s
Hm, she seems to be the same, doesn't she?
Good sign!

Skaters don't get an on ice warmup before they go out for a gala performance. Had she pushed herself too hard it could have resulted in injury. Were you expecting some jaw dropping performance? Cmon now :disapp: .

Dying to know more about her condition! When is her first event? Is it Skate Canada?

Well there are the closed and open test skates which she will be in. Then she can decide to compete in a senior B competition which is what she did last year. But for now the first confirmed competition is Skate Canada.

She's also going to Japan Open :)
