This haters are those who cannot bare that she took the the attention away from Lipnitskaya and also because of the all thing with Eteri and Julia. Zhenya can skate wonder program with world record score but Julia's loverswill start 5 threads about one underrotated jump, about prerotated jump, about not enough speed in her spins, about her dress, music, anime obsession, aboutnot good choreography, not good music, not good this and that.
And when Julia will perform another average free skate program with many mistakes and problems what she has in past 2 years with herself, she will be anyway the princess and winner for all of them, most beautifuland elegant and wander what else. I love when every time she finish her program so so clean they immediately scream that Julia is back ! Honestly Julia got all the attention mostly because her Schindler's list program because of the georgeous choreography plus georgeous music plus her youth which add to it. Since that her performing skills goes rapidly down. Unlike Medvedeva . She grows with each season and each performance more and more. And of course this is bothering many people. So there must be aleays said something negative to put her down.

I don't want to make anybody angry, this was not my intention. And yes you are right, Yulia is a nice girl too as well as other russian ( and non russian) ladies. I was just trying to point the nonsence of nitpicking someone who is since 2 seasons sowing the most stabil and great results like Zhenya. What she did wrong ? I have a feeling that many people thinks that she might not deserve this success. Just look on the other thread in GS linked to her afterspeach where she said that she will try to work harder. What some people wrote there is just ridiculous.
What you are actually doing is bringing worst rumours to a fun thread. For what reason? To repeat them once again?
And telling that people who like Yulia hate Zhenya is the shortest way to start one more holy war. It's impossible to read russian forums because of that rivalry of fans. Now you begin it here.

I don't think there should be even any fan competition between Yulia or Zhenya. It's not either one or the other. They are not stealing fans from each other, you can be a fan of both of them. There is no contradiction.
I still hope one day Yulia will come back to the competition, but I won't be affected at all if she doesn't. It's sad to see how she is disintegrating, but I am not investing money or emotions into her career.
Now, coming to Zhenya, I was completely disconnected from her last year. She kept winning, but I didn't care. Now, this year it's different. She won me. She won me big time. I am a fan. A FAN. Her performance, the emotions, the artistry, the whole package, it completely takes me. She grows exponentially. I am transfixed.

I saw Zhenya first time when she was still junior , and I actually didnt like her much, well she was cute and good jumper but she looked much younger still and didnt expect much from her first senior year. Yeah how wrong I was, when i saw her in Skate America 2015 I noticed she is really good and from this time on She is my fav ever. But this year She made another big improvement in her interpretation and artistry and the season just started. I am very excited about the next season program. This will be her chance to get to the Olympics and attack the first place. Hopefully she will not have some late puberty body issues, because I don't see any obvious difference on her since last year.
