Hasn't she pulled off a quad during practice, though? I think I read somewhere in this forum that she's off the harness

I think Zhenya is definitely training a quad on a harness rn as she said many time this season that she wants to learn a quad at the end of the season. Putting it in competition next season really depends on how well she lands and rotates it. But I really doubt that they will put a quad in the program for the Olympic season. However, after the Olympic, Zhenya should really learn to do a quad if she wants to continue winning and make it to the 2022 Olympic because already we have seen vidoes of young girls doing/practicing quads and 3A, Russians and Japanese.

My understanding from the last interview that she gave with Eteri and the Russian fed people, is that they are already training in that direction.

Actually, on that question, i.e if she is planning to add any ultra c elements, Eteri didn't "allow" Evgenia to answer she took the floor and said that they are already working on it. But it's a liitle ambiguose if she meant her spesificaly or generally her team. A later on in a similar question "if Evgenia will add a quad jump", Eteri replied

"If in the beginning of the season we will feel that it's worth it, we will switch it on. But the jump has to be not only done throughout, but also rotated, otherwise it's losing it the value" And how much rotated is it now? (with a little smile) "Let's disquss it when she will do it, of course"

So my feeling is that she already tried it, but it is underrotated. So if it remains like that and the other girls do not show any signs that their technical marks will be very ahead of hers then they will not do it, otherwise they will take the risk.

Oh my goodness this is just too adorable! I kind of died a bit when she let out a little giggle at the end of the first video. :o:

Also, yes to the Marie Claire photoshoot! I want to see the result of this, because she was looking great in those previews.

AAAAAHHHHHHH she looks amazing! :love: Where is this from? The first picture is with one of her old FS costumes, isn't it? Her hair looks shorter there, so maybe it's an old pic :scratch2:

I always thought that this dress looked like nightie. Pretty nightie)) 😂 I even tried to find something similar for myself. :laugh::laugh:
