She won't show any of her programs there as they won't be ready by then.
The biggest problem that we have is that Niigata shows usually are not broadcasted.... So I'm really hoping for a miracle there.
Maybe we'll get some news from Eteri's team instagram... or from Averbukh later this summer

I see, I can't wait to see her skate. I was thinking about what kind of programes she might do for the olympic season and I kind of have a feeling that it will be classical music for LP. I really liked her SP last year so I hope she'll have sth similar for Olympic season as well. Any other thoughs what kind of program she might have for upcoming season?:luv17:

Russian Test Skates is on Sept. 9-10 (where all skaters show their programs for the season)
* Both Julia Lipnitskaya and Adelina Sotnikova are chosen to be one of the candidates to take part in the Russian National Team.
Regarding Zhenya's next programs, I really hope that they could create programs and choose music that have similar style to her 2015/16 season. I really love both her SP and FP from last year. The music is just a beautiful blend of elegance, romance, and class, and she received alot of praises from Philip Hersh and Jackie Wong for it. But anyway her team has already chosen the music for the free program and is almost done choreographing it.
For the National Team, I wish it would be zhenya (a must since she got the 3 spots for Russia), pogorilaya, and Rodionova.

She usually always goes there. However this year she has final exams in the first half of June and I don't know if she can do them there while training... She will be back to Moscow probably this week and we'll know for sure.
Regarding her programs, I guess they will choose very strong and known music but not cliche... I really believe that they have chosen the music long time ago.
BTW, is it because of her make-up or did she really lose her weight even more? She seems so fragile and thin in her last pics....

I bet on make up :x It was really dark and overdone and nothing makes you sicker than overdone makeup. I know because I had similar on my prom and I looked like somebody recovering from some serious illness

I would like her to skate to anything from Ludovico Einaudi's In a Time Lapse album, I think any song would fit her so much, it's just expressive, special and I really imagine her to skate to anything from it imo. I recommend you guys to listen to this album, it's one of the best things I've ever heard :sad4:
Oh God yes! It would be great. When last year I read Experience would be Laurine's SP I just knew I'd be replaying it over and over again. But "Run" is a masterpiece too.

I don't think this was posted before: a pretty interesting interview with Eteri Tudberidze. The second part of the interview is about Zhenya, her training/attitude, swearing at the students, and the rivalry between Alina Zagitova and Zhenya.
A lot of people there seem to be hating on Tudberidze... I dunno what to think tbh. Maybe Russian fans have a better view on things considering the fact that they can follow almost everything she does/say.
