I am Korean and a Yuna Kim fan and even I am so done with comments all over youtube to instagram from Koreans dissing her on her flutz or "childlike skating"
they overlook all of her other good qualities, even when I argue with them nicely they won't stop mentioning her damn flutz
it's like i'm arguing with a wall
 
Sometimes they told about wrong lutz even in her short programm where its absence 😁 so it's there level of knowledge

:frown: I'm curious how hard is it to learn a quad? To be honest I am a little worry for all the senior skaters that are doing triples right now.

Don't be so worry. The one thing is to learn quad when they are Juniors but it's almost impossible to keep quads till seniors because their jumps are based on fast rotation and when they grow up, they can't rotate with the same speed.

In addition Eteri and Zhenya know that she has to work even harder each season and learn new things. As long as she keeps her motivation and spirit she should be fine.

The problem is not to learn a quad, the problem is to do it consistently and without blowing up everything else in the program. Or it will be like Tuktik and Mao with 3A.
Dont be worried. Those ladies are yet to skate a whole program with their quads.
 
The hate against Zhenya is not just annoying but really unfair to her. If you check her recent post, people are calling her out as fake champion and doesn't work hard for what she has now because of her lutz's error. I am really annoyed that these people accused her of these things and determine that she doesn't work hard all because of an edge that barely cost you one point. Is wrong edge all that they can see in her skating and her charater? Does wrong edge mean that you don't deserve anything? It is just mean and ridiculous.

Lately I saw a comment saying that she has a wrong edge on her flip which made me speechless :palmf:. I'm sure her edge is correct when it comes to flip! I also see comments saying that some of her jumps are done wrongly. Since I'm not at expert in figure skating and started to be a fun not so long ago I don't know what they mean by saying that she jumps 'wrongly'. Can someone give a good analysis of her jumps? So far I think that the only flaw in her jumping is the incorrect edge in lutz which I believe she'll try to correct.

She only has problem with the lutz. Her other jumps and flip are fine because it takeoffs of an inside edge while lutz is harder because it takeoffs of an outside edge. Haters are making up things because they can't find any other flaws beside her lutz. You can check Jacky Wong's website (rockerskating.com). He is an analyst and once a judge. He only marks down her lutz and nothing else. If you get an (!) means an unclear edge and it will deduct on GOEs which doesn't affect Zhenya much because her GOEs are high and if it is (e) it means completely wrong edge and the base value of the jump will be deducted.

yes. He has been in WC. someone on twitter asked him about her lutz in practice, he said something like "it looks fine to me in real time"...

Her entry is doing a good job not to give her time to change the takeoff edge. So her lutz is much better now. deffinetly not "e". at worst it's off a flat now.... not an inside edge.
But most of the anti's don't even care. they just repat one thing again and again....

Even if she will jump a perfect lutz ... it's not gonna change them... :disapp:

I don't have time now to translate it in full but main point are:

1) She enjoyed participating in Japanese TV shows

2) People recognize her everywhere in Japan but they are very polite and always give her space. She loved Tokyo the most.

3) During vacation she had 2 hours of exercise every day because next season is very important.

4) She will go to Novogorsk on 5th of June for one month.

5) Programs are ready but they want to keep it a secret until the beginning of next season ;)

Yes. She'll go to Japan for several days and then she will come back to Novogorsk and stay there until July.
