I teared up while watching this lol I really miss Evgenia. :cry: To reiterate what tran said, last season was truly an amazing one for her, no doubt about it. I hope next season yields the same results.

I'm gonna go insane during Niigata. :hpull: Knowing that she's skating and that I won't be able to see it is painful :hopelessness:

There won't be any broadcast. It's FUJI TV (not ASAHI) and unfortunately Niigata shows have never been aired. I feel so frustrated :(

Our only hope is twitter reports and fans that will be creative and brave enough to bring hidden cameras with them to the show :bow:

I'm internally wailing that there likely won't be a broadcast! September is too far away, I desperately need something before that, goodness.

I find it amusing that people complain about not feeling anything when she skates...the first performance of hers that I saw was her Worlds 2016 FS and it took dozens of watches on my part in order for me to stop crying every time I watched it. And to think she's still improving!

Actually she always skates to smth new for every show. Finally YOI maybe ))) ??? Just joking. I'm 80 % sure that it will be new.
But I agree that we won't see her competitive programs till September.

I read on another forum that every one who has ticket to Niigata show received a mail that said that taking photos or videos is prohibited ... I don't understand that... if there's no broadcast why do they have to be so mean???? What's so different about Niigata show that they have to treat it as clasified materials???

I'm holding on to some ridiculous hope that they plan on doing something special with the show...like some kind of photobook to be released later on. Or even an uncut broadcast that hasn't been announced yet. WHY DO THEY NOT REALIZE THAT THERE ARE INTERNATIONAL FANS WHO CANNOT GO TO THE SHOWS BUT WANT TO EXPERIENCE THIS TOO????? :curse: It's as if they intentionally want to create exclusive shows that only people with money and luck get to experience for themselves. I mean...if they want the sport and the skaters to gain popularity, maybe make it more accessible to everyone and stop keeping us in the dark most of the time? :scard8:

From past experience in other fandoms, most (if not all) Japanese concerts and shows have this kind of rule. It's really difficult to get fancams and the only way is to do it in secret and pray you don't get caught. Even then, they usually get taken down really quickly so it's a mad dash to download it as soon as possible. Let's just hope that someone takes one for the team and records with some fancy secret recording gear because the thought of not being able to see anything from the show is killing me! :tantrum:
