Evgenia Medvedeva

I love the Averbukh programs . I don't unterstand why many people hate his style . He's rupturist and I love this hehehe. Evgenia is an adolescent, a contemporany girl , when I saw her program and her history I was fascinated , I could not take my eyes off her. It's so different from those boring programs where girls just glide on the ice and move their little hands without making any sense.
Tarasova said she saw the new program and she loved the choreography, according to her it is different from the previous ones. (Remember that Tarasova has never been very receptive to Zhenya, so I believe).
I CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT SEASON :(.

I totally agree! I love how she's telling stories through her beautiful programs.
Apparently, this makes it easier for her to focus as well.

To me, it gives her programs a lot more extra flavour. I can't wait to see her programs of the season.

so anna is not on the ice yet. it's quite worrying

It's not clear. There is also no Dunya Panenkova. But she has to prepare to the next JGP stage. So, nobody knows. It could be different time of the trainings for different groups of girls. But in any case Anna's health is the most important thing, and she will have enough time to prepare to the Junior Nationals. :)

What the... :jaw: How do you know that? Why? And what does it mean for her? This is because no room there? I thought there two-three groups with main skaters. Just for more space. But this group where she was thrown is like a reserve group?

she wrote this on her ask.fm about a month ago. it doesn't mean to much, i believe. but still, skaters in the main group considered to be the best and the most promising ones. and anna is in the main group since forever. so it's strange she's not on the photo, while daniil was saying a while ago that she's gonna be on the ice in a couple of days

Thanks for clarification. :) I hope Dunya will prove them at JGP that she deserves to be among of the best. (if she won't be removed from the list)

What about Anya I think it's nothing to worry about. It's just broken leg. She's recovering. It's not that situation like with Polina with some strange diagnosis or something. Btw, I'm glad to see her in the main group with her teammates, it means she's finally okay. :) It would be the Olympic dream team: Evgenia, Polina and Alina.

eteri have to throw someone out, to include panenkova. i think there's 6 boys and 6 girls in the main group. all girls train together, as well as the boys, 6 people on the same ice at the same time it's already quite busy

It's not the 'main' group. There're 2 groups with elder and younger ones (but Sasha and Anna train with elder ones so there's no exact system). Apparently, Dasha did something wrong so as punishment she was sent to train with kids [emoji28]
Alexey Erokhov was sent there for some time too during the last season because he was getting distracted. It's not very serious tho

Someone from the group mentioned that there're usually up to 12-18 kids on the ice. Sometimes more, sometimes less depends on the day of the week

Wait a minute what??! On Panenkova's bio, doesn't it still say that Eteri and Sergei are her coaches?

update: just saw the message that unplanned posted. That makes a lot more sense

Evgenia Medvedeva became a student of the Russian State University of Physical Education, Sports, Youth and Tourism

Congratulations! It will be difficult to study this year but I'm sure that the university will help her built easy schedule.

And she looks beautiful!

Congratulations Janny!!!

This girl works so hard , she deserve all .With only 17 years he has to train, deal with Olympic pressure, study, and stay balanced.Oh my goshhhh
This little wonder does not deserve all that sick hatred she's been getting lately. Success, Evgenia, I want to see you on the podium as champion again.

I am very confident in Zhenya's stability. :luv17:

Johnny Weir on Zhenya. https://www.forbes.com/sites/lauren...-with-figure-skater-johnny-weir/#185c42ff332c

She’s actually the main reason I started to watch Yuri!!! On Ice. She tweeted “This is Johnny” with a picture of Yuuri, and it was Yuuri wearing his short program costume. We did not compete at the same time—she’s much younger than me—but I have the pleasure of commentating her many times. This summer, with Fantasy on Ice in Japan, we toured together for the first time. Since she’s been coming up through the ranks, we stayed in touch via Instagram or email, and she’s the most darling girl.
