Actually both pieces are featured in the movie. Nocturne in C sharp minor is played at the beginning of movie while Ballade in G minor is played in German's officer house.

So the short program is about the purity of the soul and feelings while the long program is about believing in sth. Sounds good for Olympic season. I am sure she can easily pull it off! :agree:

One thing I like about Evgenia is that she often makes friends with other skaters. And she's also not one of those people who only 'play with the cool kids'. Often, whenever I check a skater's Instagram that is not even all that famous, she comes up as a follower already

When I was watching Kim's programs I was having deja vu and I was right! Kim was skating for Ukraine previously but she has a lot of pictures on her instagram with Russian squad including Polina. I was wondering if she knew Zhenya too
