Evgenia Medvedeva

https://youtu.be/tyGBQBCgxtI Reportage on team Russia going into Euros - no clue what they’re saying as I don’t speak Russian

In short they say that the Russian team members for Figure Skating European Championships have been announced. The question is whether Medvedeva can afford to skip the Europeans. There's an opinion that Evgenia needn't take part in any events before the Olympics especially taking into account her injury. It's kinda obvious (to her supporters, coaches and other figure skaters) that she doesn't have to. All the other athletes were chosen based on their results. They also mention that at the moment Medvedeva's strongest competitor is Zagitova. Potentially Medvedeva, Zagitova and Sotskova are going to be on the podium of the Europeans and the Olympics. Surely the Canadians have great expectations of Kaetlyn Osmond and the Japanese hope Satoko Miyahara will do her best, and then there's Carolina Kostner... but everything will depend on their skating.

Her Insta page hasn't been updated, I can't see his new year's picture on it. :- /
But thank you for putting the picture in anyway ^^^

It's in her Instagram story! :)

Glad to see her looking healthy and happy! Euros are just a couple of weeks away!!

Welp, on the positive side, if she really helps Zhenya to fix her problem then that's fine by me. It's her business to choose a sad way of life.

I read Courtney’s replies in the comments on how she fixed her lutz. She had a right foot injury and only did exercises using her left foot for a whole month, then started doing single then double lutzes using the new technique. Essentially she had to restart from scratch and learn a new technique for it.

Imagine if Evgenia could do that over the summer break, and get a consistent lutz edge happening :agree: and add the lutz in the sp and a lz combo in the fs!

Zhenya is injured in the right foot for around a month. She might have been skating with her left foot before getting her cast off. She might even get the lutz edge right by the time of euro champs.

Well, that's my wish and I really hope that'd be the case. In reality it's not that easy though.

I don't know anything about her except that she's an american skater and famous on twitter for these tweets of hers https://twitter.com/team_pdd/status/947000193907437568
They show that's she's the kind of racist, transphobic ,white supremacist person. She has "doubts" about Ashley's injury when she WD in Skate America too :disapp:, better stay away
