Evgenia Medvedeva

She maybe, but the we have no info at the moment, practice notes don't help because of her habit of putting toe after every jumps :hopelessness:. I don't know if her and her team would be willing to take such risk, because if she make mistake after the 2nd flip and miss the combo then the 2nd flip would be invalidated.

i don't get this crying.
Evgenia showed amazing SP.
Let's wait and see. it's just beginning. SP and LP yet to come.

And if Evgenia got WR with SP, i don't see why she can't get similar WR as in WTT. If she will skates as she can, she will get it.
And again. It's a sport. You never know what is going to happen.

It's because it's a sport, no one knows what will happen that there is crying. One needs prepareness for what potentially would happen

Let’s remember that Zhenya scored 154 at euros with a botched 3-3 and a ! on her lutz, and with not the best GOEs of her career. Skating clean, she could get 160 again. Is it easy to beat Alina? No, almost impossible. But if anyone can, it’s Evgenia.

Basically back then Marin could beat Alina and looks at the score between her and alina now...

Well, Marin didn’t have a good senior debut. Alina has improved a lot in the past few months. But that’s not the point - the point is that if Zhenya scored 154 at euros with not her best performance, she can score higher again. She definitely needs to be perfectly clean in both programs though.

haha maybe :) Most likely it was her usual nod of approval, to me she doesn't seem very happy, think it's hard for her too, maybe it's just my perception https://streamable.com/6cvho
yes, it's your perception and imagination. :noshake:
sorry, i don't want to be rude.....:scratch2: but you act the same as some users who are trying to think up that Alina and Evgenia hate each other. :sarcasm:

Well, I mean it's not crying but discussing, what else can we do
Following your analogy Alina also didn't show her best skate last night either and can get higher score as well, all point is that her PCS is again nearly same level as Zhenya's, her lowest PCS was SS 9.21 and 9.57 for performance, 9.36 for Composition, higher than Carolina's in most of PCS. So basically for 1 season she reached her best :) I mean counting that her TES is way stronger we again got controversially of how the 2d mark is granted...

P.S. and yes, I love Zhenya's dearly but I think 10 or 9.9 is PCS is to much for any skater. Inflation is real and it's been a while...

not just Evgenia, Alina too need to be perfectly clean to get any chance to be close to clean Evgenia.

The FS is one thing, of course.

But Alina's only had one clean SP performance this season. I'm not sure why all the talk is about the FS. In my opinion it's the SP that makes or breaks it, and Medvedeva's been incredibly strong and consistent with hers.

Why? I do really think they have healthy relationships and good teammates as well as competitors. My point is that the score system itself is still very arguable. But I will stop on this. Maybe I can not put my thoughts in right form and it makes more confusion which I don't want to make, apologies!

Her inconsistency with sp is one thing, but Zhenya can make mistakes too, so we should consider clean programs are basics. And honestly with Alina's 36 pcs if she skates clean she'd reach the same score as Zhenya.

marin honda had an absolutley clean skate at junior worlds (and that's THE ONLY TIME when she skated clean in her life) and still lost to alina with a 7 points gap (for juniors where everyone are tied at the same PCS range it's quite a lot)
it doesn't look to me like she could beat her.
although she actually beat her once in slovenia, alongside with rika, when alina had the only disastrous fs in her career

I said "could", and of course pcs hurts as always. Anyway, back to topic at hand

That's fine. Just deduct 10 PC points from each skaters' score - and I guess all will be quite correct. Although, from Evgenia's PCS I'd deduct less than 10 points, because she is the best than anyone else there right now in seniors.

basically almost everyone is overscored, the question turns to how much overscored are they and does that affect ranking.
I heard they're making a new system, don't know if it'd be any better or not. Whatever, they need a "break" to this overscoring, there are 3 who have almost max out in pcs and it's just abnormal and would be very complicated for newcomers from junior.
