Man, that's quite a brave thing to say in general, our girl is so gutsy! Out of respect for Zhenya, we really shouldn't make assumptions, though. Lol I can't even imagine admitting such a thing to my family, let alone in an interview. :rofl:

That is not accurate translation, she was asked is she has ever been in love with smbd and was it hindering her in career?
She said yes she has been in love but contrary, it was helping ( not hindering factor)
Then her mom had surprised reaction, she laughed and said that probably her mom has just knew something new about her and laughed again, whispering that she is scared of future convos with mum . :laugh:

She only says that she has romantic feelings for SOMEONE, that does not mean she already has a boyfriend. I think none of the girls have a Bf, Masha Sotskova in an interview before the Olympics said that it was impossible to have a boyfriend since she was 100% focused on her training.

I just hope that SOMEONE doesn't break the heart of my baby.
 
Most funny question here was "Imagine Bobrova and Yuzuru Hanyu fighting for roll in buffet and Misha Ge Drops over them, what will you do?
take a deep sigh and leave the buffet, fight etc etc... she said she'd take out her mobile and take pics but she sees it almost always because thats what really happens usually at backstage :laugh:
 
Also, I forgot to mention: she said in that interview that she was at the doping control right after medal ceremony.
 
They asked her where did she meet Yuzuru for the first time , she said it was ages ago , probably it was one of their international competitions..of course she was big fan of skating was watching his career, knew who Yuzuru even before they actually met ..
Journalist asked again if she really, really does not remember where they met for the first time but she said it was so long ago , she does not really remember and laughed

Now this is just sad. :( Had it not been for those athletes who continued to dope despite knowing that they could ruin it for everyone, she wouldn't have to deal with stuff like this. It reminds me of what happened to Alina earlier this week. It's been quite a rough season for her Zhenya and I couldn't be more proud of the way she handled it. :sad4:
 
Having doping control right after medal ceremony is normal thing in figure skating, they do it right away usually. she did not mention it as something surprising .

They did knocked her door at 5 AM for controls once, she's pretty used to it now.

Yes I remember that and case with alina was also very odd ...other than that having checked after medal ceremony is normal routine

Whoops, I didn't know that. :palmf: I just remembered the case where she was woken up very early for a test and assumed that they were being extra strict with her.

Also, does anyone know if there's a subbing team of sorts for Evgenia? There's going to be tons of interviews in the following weeks and I really hope I'll be able to watch some of them...

The question was asked in the past tense - so she answered it in the past tense. It doesn't mean she isn't in love now. Also her reaction and embarassment with the mom was rather suspicious for someone who just reminisces the past.
 
The love discours isn't going anywhere, can we pause? :laugh:

Can't wait to see kukushka tonight. I'll probably end up in a sobbing mess but worth it :cry:
