The stream vid she was with Ekaterina, ppl commented about Trump and politics but they said that was none of their business.
I don't think she's enthusiastic enough to volunteer.

I just hate how they ask her for all these stuffs, like, why not a politician speak for themself?

It's absolutely normal for athletes\actors\famous people to encourage citizens to vote. And Zhenya is a very patriotic person, so I'm sure she doesn't mind, or she wouldn't have done it.
But as always we have to assume things and see them in the most negative way possible :disapp:

That's not the case in my country. Never seen a non politician calling for vote. Each citizen was teached to know that voting is both a right and a duty and no need for some famous people to remind us of that, it even feel somewhat insulting.

Is she asking people to generally vote or is she promoting Putin's campaign? (I can't see the video right now) If the first is the case, I don't think it is a big deal. They cant ask Zagitova because she is a minor. In my country we are also used to seeing our famous people making such campaigns in order to encourage everyone to vote (since voting rate is always low)

In my country, civics is a mandatory subject from elementary to middle school, where compulsory education ends. And media wouldn't stop talking about it when votings start, and the politicians themselves are "stars" in this. They have public speeches, debats, leafletters etc. They promote themselves like idols do. In my country young people are still quite excited about voting and it's hilarious when you're at school hearing all the debates, voting rate is not low enough for idols to step in I guess.
Not to mention, they send leafletters directly to your mailbox?
Can't deny that we'll eventually see famous people promoting campain, because after everthing, economy is still in declined in recent years and peolple starting to lose hope.
Well, I'm relieved she only talks about voting. Rather than all these politicians not knowing how to promote themselves i'd vote for her.

So if Eteri and the other coaches wind up with the top two juniors champions on girls and then have the top two women’s champions at worlds would that be some sort of coaching achievement? Has that been done before?

Of course that's a big coaching achievement.
She has received some award(s) for coach too but I don't remember precisely which.
2 seniors and 2 junios at the top haven't been done before but talk about a team with 2 top students there're similar cases like Brian with Yuzuru and Javi, Mishin with Plushenko, Yagudin.
