And i was wondering where I can rewatch zhenya's team performance :scratch2: thanks in advance!
 
A shift in the landscape has occurred, and there is no going back now. I expect we will see a quad from Evgenia sometime soon...
 
I personally think she won't be going for a quad, but definitely not 3A either, her axel is weak. She's good as she is, but if she wants to beat Alina she needs to up her game somehow.

I think she has trained for a 4S before, but stayed with a triples max layout for the Olympics year.
She's also said recently she would up her technical layout, so it wouldn't surprise me if she starts trying again. The Salchow is her favourite jump, so we might see it one day.
I guess she has to do something to compete with Zagitova and the ladies that can/will turn senior in 2019.
 
I think she tried it at least in harness. But we'll have to wait for new rules before deciding if 4s worth the try. Because leak info said the bv of quads would be deduced and more punishment for yolo attemps would be implemented bc isu dont want people to go out and fall but still get high tss.
It's not official but consider it a possibility.
And with quad, it's hard to be consistent even for men...
 
Yeah, Zhenya had said she would like to try 4S after the Olympic season... we'll see whether she needs it with the new rules and all
 
It's a safer bet adding -3lo combo for next season, or maybe some flashy combo 3f-1lo-3s or some 3-3-2, 2A-3T-2T(or 2lo) combo. Many possibility.

I think it is realistic for tbh but how consistent would it be?
Those unknown rule changes are driving me crazy :drama:
