If these reports are true, then I don’t believe Eteri. I think if she thinks Alina is her top skater for next season she is going to build her up by saying things like this here. Evgenia would not suggest this seriously as she is not the coach (if she did, it was likely a random comment. She was either joking or just a bit of emotion). Evgenia is focused on her own performance, her own routines, not other skater’s. And she is always a champion going into her performances. Evgenia also showed much love for Alina and you can see in how Alina looked at Evgenia that she also admired and looked to her as well as a friend. They are friends. So there is nothing there no matter how much rumors try to make it so. But if this report is true, and I hope Eteri would be more professional than this, it would just be a coach trying to build up her top skater for next season while also trying to rub at her top competition. No worries though, Evgenia is the Tsarina. She has always been polite, friendly, and caring as evident from how other skaters love her. She doesn’t need to speak with words. She will speak with her performances next season. Evgenia will be the world champion come this time next year again. And that will be that.

Buckle up, this is about to turn into a real shitstorm. I was never expecting things would turn out like this, I think everyone here assumed Eteri knew. Mind you, I don't believe a word she's saying. In the end though, Eteri is just digging herself further into the ground...this is pathetic

Also wow at Russian tv trying to paint her as an evil young girl. May I remind you that this girl traveled to Switzerland while she was injured and in a cast to try and save you all from not going to the freaking Olympics!!!!! WOW.

Yes it was on the central television at the prime time. I don't trust any word. She has told that she has only learned about leaving, from television when her group ignored week Evgenia. I.e. in group knew before Eteri? LoL

You know, I am very glad right now that I was right. Can you imagine the bad blood that would have existed in this club, had she been forced to stay? It would have been a nightmare.
I know this is shocking, and many people are disappointed/angry/sad etc, so before it happens, let's not turn this into an Eteri hate thread. Let's remember this is a place is to celebrate Zhenya, no need to put down Eteri. Those comments might be better written at the Edge.
I hope Zhenya stays strong as she always does and rises above everything to get the best results next season, regardless of who the coach is.
...but I have to say I am on the Orser bandwagon already
he focuses on the full package, Tracy on SS, Ghislain on jumps. And the choreographers she could have access to! David Wilson, Jeff, Shae Lynn. It would be so interesting to see her skate to something outside her usual for competition
