Zhenya's mom is also moving to Canada, according to Brian It's clear Team Canada likes her a lot so I am sure they both left with a good impression, even if it's likely she won't see any of them except for Gabby and maybe Javi once he starts training for Euros (he is honorary Canadian )

Oh, I thought that she'd go with Evgenia to help her get settle there, not that she was moving. Doesn't her mom have a sort of important job in Russia? (as in a well paid one.)

Would someone like to translate what Plushenko, Mishin and Zagitova say in this video?

Plushenko said that he had one coach for 21 years while Yagudin changed his coach and both ways were good to achieve the best results. Mishin underlined that new score system can change drastically Zhenya's situation as a clean, perfectly performed jump will be able to gain plus 5 GOE points while quads will be scored slightly lower. Alina just refused commenting, saying "I cannot comment as this is not my situation".

I can't wait to see her interactions with Brian for the first time. I wonder if they'll be in an awkward-formal stage or if they'll already be comfortable and personable with eachother? LOL, so many things to think about.

I can't wait to see her interactions with Brian for the first time. I wonder if they'll be in an awkward-formal stage or if they'll already be comfortable and personable with eachother? LOL, so many things to think about.

Brian said that they are planning to have her compete at a CS event in the fall, before the GP series begins. Fingers crossed and if all goes well we'll see her in late September\early October.

jeez that's not true :\ she knew, layshev knew and said that they were fighting for a while, everyone at the rink knew, diana knew and even kostornaya spoiled it by accident on ig live (abt both polina and zhenya) etc etc
eteri just didn't want let her go, her ego can't handle it smh. so she went on tv and tried to damage her reputation, and now she is even trying to sell it like a 'war' between her coaching methods and orser's
and yes i think zhenya remembers how it was difficult for yulia - to leave this group
