There is really nothing to reconcile for Zhenya. Im sure part of her still loves Eteri and part of her is annoyed by Eteri and the things she said. I have no doubt Zhenya will be fine when shes around Eteri and her angels in competition. Zhenya left with class while Eteri has acted like a spurned teenager. Its okay if Eteri is hurt that Zhenya left her. This is sport and life. Its normal. But she should never say anything negative about Zhenya. That is wrong and disappointing. Polina also left Eteri recently. Someday Alina will. I hope Eteri handles that better than she did when her second daughter left her last week.

Lmao knowing Zhenya she will skate to something classical but unexpected (and probably something "recent")... But maaaan... Pan's Labyrinth is everything. It is eerie and mysterious yet welcoming and has a hint of "childhood innocence" in it. Ofelia is this pale skinned brunette with deep dark eyes just like Zhenya, with a pure heart and "an open eye" to the magical things around her... War, Love, Death, Innocence, Guilt, The Real vs The Unreal... All in one... If you give the music of it a "soul" just like Zhenya gave Anna Karenina a "soul" with her performance it would be perfectness... It would have the classic European trope of a "Tragic Beauty"... Someone actually made a video about it... it is perfection. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKa0L637qwE OF COURSE the movements and jumps and whatnot does not perfectly synchronise with the music (understandable) BUTTTTT just the sheer appearance of Evgenia fits the music and the mood of it so well!!!

On a side note I wish Alina said something nice about Zhenya after she left Eteri. Just good luck to Zhenya or something like that not that I cant talk about Zhenya stuff. Who knows maybe Eteri has told the girls to stay quiet about Zhenya.

Zhenya got a clean bill of health she must be relieved.

Edit: The hate thing will always exist. Zhenya can cope with it, the past has shown us that.

Gosh I would love to see her skating to Pan's Labyrinth, but DW is a bit old fashioned so idk if he would consider it? In Zhenya's 2018-2019 thread someone mentioned Breakfast at Tiffany's which I think could also fit her quite well (though I would hope it wouldn't come off as too "Javi-like"). Whatever it may be, I trust Zhenya and her new team to come up with something great, I am sure everyone wants her to come out with a BANG after all these changes to show it's for the best :yes:

Sorry for Going OT here but I think this is the best response Alina could have given PR wise, otherwise she may have been seen as taking sides, one way or another. Zhenya also refused to give out any statements regarding her keeping in touch with Alina.

So many things to comment about in this video. So happy that the results from her exams were positive and she's on a great path to recovery!

Now imagine Eteri watching TAT speaking highly of Brian like that lol she is so pressed over him and she's still out here going against what Evgenia has said regarding her feelings about the Olys, like let it go woman. The media is already building the Brian x Eteri rivalry to play alongside the Medvedeva x Zagitova one...next season is gonna be interesting to say the least.

she should have already started discussing Irina Viener methods(rhythmic gymnastics) .
just watch a few movies on YT and you will understand that Eteri is just a tender Bamby compared to Viener.

Neither do I. To me it looks like Kozhevnikova decided to exploit the situation to her own advantage - kinda advertising herself

of course she decided to exploit situtation, you cant say such things when someone is strong. it always workd like this. e.g. Weinstein or other open secret thnigs. hard to ciritize successful people because people dont believe them.

No , I said why - if she really is concerned about coaching methods,she should have started this discussing long time ago .

Its look like "independent opinion" from Kozevnikova , but TAT is behind :slink:
