Toronto is one of the most linguistically diverse cities in North America due to the wide array of immigrant communities there, but it’s definitely an Anglophone city. The Francophone community in Ontario is more concentrated in the easternmost parts of the province, bordering Quebec.

But in general, I’d say it’s actually difficult to pick up French in Canada from casual interactions unless you move to a very monolingual French area, because native Francophones in the more cosmopolitan areas will just talk to you in English rather than trying to communicate in French.

Ok but can I just say that boy is so talented and handsome and wow?!?!?!?!!? ok yeah I just wanted to say that... he was one of my fave Eurovision acts ever... yuh that's all (IK I'm late to this :( :scratch2: ) but I'm glad Zhenya is making friends... Esp if it's him

Evgenia and the bazooka! really the creativity of the fans surprises me, and they are so quick to draw haha. A lot of talent among the fans.


I can't wait!! I want the links of the presentation. I saw a small video with her 3S (by the way, those shorts fit very well, her legs looked so long and slender:luv17:), I want to see the full presentation.

That guy, is the one they invited to the Talkshow ?? for the pictures that went up to the vk I thought it was a very tall girl hahahaha, I'm glad Zhenya makes more friends, maybe she doesn't have much time to socialize, and it's good that they introduced her to someone who matches her musical tastes and things nerds.


Of curiosity I saw his IG, he sing very well, maybe we will see a collaboration in the future ??

I loved the melody they say Zhenya used, "Experience" by Ludovico Einaudi, what a great choice, I didn't know him and I spent the night before playing his music, it's so relaxing and beautiful.:agree:

I totally agree.

Love how much fanart there is for skaters in general by the way. I never knew that a sport would inspire so much fanart, or maybe figure skating is the exception?

Well, I don't know how many other athletes have fan bases that forge custom medals for them or pay to name actual stars after them, so yeah. :cool:

The music choices were astounding in Faoi. She couldn't have picked better songs. Love them both. On repeat on my phone all day.
 
Just the simple act of seeing Zhenya nowadays is enough to make me walk around with a dopey smile on my face. :luv17: It's so nice waking up in the mornings knowing that I'll be receiving some updates. I'm in too deep, aren't I? :laugh:
 
In the video of the interview with the Olympic Channel she says: “I am not afraid anymore”.

At first it sounds good but it is really quite sad because she says publicly that she was afraid BEFORE, which I think is ... terrible, because I think we all know what (or rather who) is talking about.....:(

Ohhh this is interesting! However, I don’t think it can be a program in progress since she still has to work with David Wilson? What do you guys think?
 
I can imagine that Zhenya choreographed the program on her own and she's now just enjoying her freedom. When she meets DW they'll either work on this program and make corrections or they'll come up with a completely new one. We have to wait! :)
