In the video of the interview with the Olympic Channel she says: “I am not afraid anymore”.
At first it sounds good but it is really quite sad because she says publicly that she was afraid BEFORE, which I think is ... terrible, because I think we all know what (or rather who) is talking about.....
She might have been referencing fears regarding her health and injuries... But yes, it's related to You-know-who...
I can imagine that Zhenya choreographed the program on her own and she's now just enjoying her freedom. When she meets DW they'll either work on this program and make corrections or they'll come up with a completely new one. We have to wait!
It'd be really impressive if she did choose the songs and choreograph the programs herself, since they have been praised so much and even moved people to tears! AAAAAHHHH Can't wait to see the FaOI videos...

I took it as being afraid of such a complete upheaval: leaving her home, her coach, and her country to train half a world away in a different language with no guarantees, just her talent, determination, and work ethic, knowing that she would face a storm of criticism from her haters. Now, she only sees the light ahead; there is nothing left to be afraid of, and she only wants to move forward. The questions surrounding the injuries are behind her; she feels confident and free on the ice, and the world had better look out, because she's back, and she's a hungry bear!

evgenia was out for everybody’s performance, and then ran backstage when it was her turn to take the ice. she also stepped on the small stage after she was done and hugged all of the artists that performed live with her. i love a polite and supportive queen.

Exactly. You named her fears correctly and its not Eteri. Its leaving Russia for a new country and a new culture.
