Have you noticed any change in her jumps? I know they look smaller because of the long pause she had to take, but to me they appear to have a bigger amplitude (?) in a way that with the jumps she covers more ice. The ones she used to do in competitions usually appeared to my untrained eye as if she was standing at one point in the air, rotating and than landing.

Yeah, now that you mention it, it looks like she's covering more horizontal ground than before, but I have an untrained eye, as well. It looks to me like she's put on just a bit more muscle, so maybe that is contributing to it.

I have noticed as well, maybe it's because she's not doing tano?

Personally, I think her jumps look like she hasn’t jumped in a while but she’s getting the hang of them pretty quickly :) I wouldn’t judge her ability/amplitude/ecc from the jumps we see now
 
I think toe jumps might be a bigger test. I feel like she's struggling with them more. But from the jumps we've seen, compared to her Olympics performance I think the overall quality is kinda better. Yes, I think she looks more hesitant, but overall I like them better now. From the "Experience" piece for example, fell in love with that beautiful delayed rotation on the loop.

PS. Untrained eye here too soooo [emoji14]
 
Honestly, I couldn't even expect her to jump on these shows, a little petiod of recovering and no coach aside, I've no idea how she managed to get these 2 jumps back and with rather good quality. Hopefully she'll come back to toe jumps only in Canada under a care of competent team of coaches.

If you think about it, it's absolutely amazing that she can come up with a program like "Experience" completely by herself, with no coreographer or coach, following major injury. The girl is really special.

Wow, I actually thought that her SP dress was more blue than purple but as Olga herself said it's quite a special fabric that looks different on screen and in reality. This reminds me of the white/gold or blue/black dress story :laugh:

I think a lot of it depends on the light! I saw it blue\violet depending on the picture or video I was watching ahah
